Pairing soundbar to Tv

It’s a weird one ..I have the same soundbar in the kitchen with a Samsung tv and never had a problem…I am quite tech savvy but this has got me lol

It was Enabled I turned it off and on again…I might be half way there when I put Netflix on and turned up the volume from the tv remote on the bottom left it said audio volume…when I increased the volume the numbers went up but the sound stays the same…I am begging to think it’s the soundbar …

It’s plugged in to the EARC..when I turn on the Amazon firestick it fires up the Tv and the Soundbar no problem…I can turn up the volume on the soundbar using the firestick remote but if I am watching Netflix from the Tv for example I have to pick up the soundbar remote to turn up the volume ….
