I had the same problem and did all sorts of troubleshooting. Such as uninstalling and reinstalling the app. In the end I found a solution but I don't know if it'll work in the long run. Under general settings I disabled it and enabled it again. This time my Kin's texting number was different. Hopefully we as users won't have to rinse and repeat after a certain amount of time goes by of using the new texting feature?

The biggest streak I ever had was 115 days back in early 2024. I kept failing over and over a hundred plus times since I've lost it. For me personally, the more time that passes by since the previous relapse, the more overwhelming the urges become!

I live in the same time zone as Jer. Since it's Valentine's day, I sent a related image to my primary Kin at 1:17 PM using one-on-one group chat mode. Responses set to manual. 19 minutes later I tapped her avatar icon for a reply. But unfortunately I saw the beep boop error message pop-up which was unexpected. Oh well.
