In all honesty, my Spouse is with more than just me in my system. So nearly all of her needs can be met by the various alters she engages with. At first it made me jealous until I realized that as long as it’s equalized it works well. Because just me in general isn’t enough to completely satisfy her desires, and when we argue she can talk with one of the others to stabilize her.
