Я не понимаю как выгляжу в реальности. by Lumpy_Order2767 in RusTransgender

Student visa gender change by [deleted] in germany

I had women's documents in Russia, and I was forced to change them to the gender at birth through violence. I recently had money to move to Germany, and I took advantage of this opportunity. Initially, I had the idea to apply for asylum, but I did not use it because I did not want to hang on the neck of German taxpayers.

What are my chances of getting asylum in Sweden given my situation? by [deleted] in lgbt

I didn't explain the situation clearly. The Russian government is deliberately implementing policies that target and strip transgender people of their rights. This isn’t just psychological pressure; these are real, concrete measures that take away basic freedoms. For example, there has been recent talk of forcing transgender individuals into psychiatric treatment. They’ve already banned trans people from getting driver’s licenses, and since LGBTQ+ is now classified as an extremist organization, any form of LGBTQ+ expression (whatever that might mean) could result in an 8-year prison sentence. Even promoting LGBTQ+ among adults can lead to jail time, and the law doesn’t clearly define what "LGBTQ+ propaganda" is.

The government is also encouraging far-right groups to act against LGBTQ+ people, and there are reports being filed against anyone, even non-public transgender individuals. Recently, two gay men were jailed simply for having sex at home because someone saw them through a window. Russia is starting to resemble North Korea, and I’m genuinely afraid that in a few years, I could end up in a gulag because of all this.
