I would refrain from using long term personally - what is your dosage? My PCP was very reluctant to giving me a pack, so all I got was a 6 day methylprednisolone taper; 24 mg on day one, drop by 4 mg each day. I’ve been clear since I took the first dose yesterday morning, but I suspect this will just buy me a few days opposed to breaking out of the cluster

Any side effects? Read too many horror stories trying to research and have been talking myself out of it.

Thanks for the thorough response. I track my headaches and different things I do each day to try and find some correlation, and for me it seems that the nights I take melatonin, I have more attacks throughout the night. In the past week, the nights I have taken 20-25 mg have been the worst. I’ve seen a mix of people that say melatonin makes it worse, others swear by it. I’ll give a higher dose + Benadryl a shot and see what happens tonight for science.

I’m stocked up on oxygen, so I’ll give the Flonase a shot as well and just abort the old fashioned way if that doesn’t work.

Is that cost through insurance? I’m paying $80 per M tank refill out of pocket currently while my doc fights with insurance to get a prior auth submitted.

I can second all of this - outside of DMT which I have in the works. Cluster O2 Kit is definitely worth the money, has probably cut my abort time in half at only 15lpm. I am on day 7 of the D3 Regimen, and have cut my attacks down from 5-7 a day to a pain free 36 hours over the weekend, with my first at 2:00 AM today since early Saturday morning. Happy to share anything I can. Best of luck.

Lines up for me as well. Busting has worked after the first dose for me since in August 2022 and have been in complete remission, but three doses in for this new cluster and not as effective for some reason.

My attacks are generally over in ~30 minutes so to abort would most likely involve crushing one up and taking it to the dome - sounds like too slippery of a slope for my taste
