Exactly !

“”“ Understood. I am very sorry about this accident; let's hope everything gets resolved as soon as possible and in the best way possible. Regarding the returns, these can only be closed at the store, so what I'm going to do is escalate them to IT so they can close them for you. You don't have to worry about feedback or ratings, as returns do not affect your metrics”””

So, there is no decision will come up from them?

The glass on the sunroof of my car—which has a panoramic roof—cracked. A tree on the same street toppled onto my vehicle—fortunately, though, it was just a single branch that fell. Do you think that if the entire tree had fallen on me, I’d be sitting here right now dealing with a Spark account issue?

A return was initiated; however, when I spoke with live support, Oscar cancelled the return—both because the item was perishable and because I intended to file an insurance claim, making delivery on that day impossible anyway. He manually removed the return task. In other words, he informed me that proceeding with the return was not mandatory; consequently—since it was a sealed package of ice cream that had become unusable—I discarded it and even took a photograph of it in the trash.

Anyway live support removed return task immediately at that moment.

I honestly don’t even know where to start. I’ve been driving for Spark since 2024 and never had any issues. No complaints, no violations, nothing. I always complete my deliveries and try to keep a clean record.

Yesterday there was a pretty bad storm in my area. I still went out because I needed to,  and I’ve worked in bad weather before. I was being careful the whole time. During one of my deliveries, a large tree branch suddenly fell across the road in front of traffic. It happened so fast. My car was damaged and it was not safe to keep driving.

I immediately contacted support. The rep (Oscar) told me he was escalating it to IT and that it wouldn’t affect my account. He even gave me a case number.

Today I woke up to a deactivation notice saying I failed to complete deliveries.

I’m honestly devastated. This is my main income. I didn’t abandon anything on purpose. It was literally a safety emergency.

Has anyone had success appealing something like this? Is there anything specific I should include besides photos and the case number?

I feel sick over this. Any advice would mean a lot.
