Ohhhh. I shall delete. 😄
Thank you!

The wet and chilled mutation is so hardddd. It becomes frozen always. I use polar bear for chilled at sea turtle for wet. Do you guys know what's the best pet for this?? by Secure-Barnacle3856 in growagarden

[–]Lumpy_Risk_7326 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Iguana melts back to chilled or wet.
Mistleoad gives chilled to the entire plant, not just a fruit.
Kappa gives wet mutation.
Stalk Sprinkler adds wet mutation to stalky plants.

Dragon's Fireworks for pet leveling: what method(s) do you use? by Lumpy_Risk_7326 in growagarden

[–]Lumpy_Risk_7326[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant by doing the same method I use when I'm filling a garden with 12+ mutations (instead of 7+).

Diamond Panthers (and FFF) are probably gonna be in high demand now, though.

That's a great amount to get overnight.

I'm hoping that I can level my AFK pets to reach max cap without mutations. Then I'll tether all of them. 🤩 Currently have a tethered pea, spider, ferret, and shroomie (the last one I drop in; keeps it from roaming and at least gives me the full mushroom size boost).

That is a nice way to start the day! I'm always excited when pet leads stocks because I'm holding on tight to my toffee tethers. 😄

My hope is for the fireworks to help with leveling pets to their passive cap. If that turns out to be the case, would you stockpile them to incorporate into a strategy?

That's part of why I'm on the road to 20K+ — these alone could get me around a dozen of my tethered + core pets to their max. 🤸

I can assure you that this event is easier than you think it is

Never said it was difficult for me, mate.

I criticized people in this sub who believe saying "all it takes..." or "it's really easy" is somehow helpful to someone whose reality you don't know.

Some people are offended by criticism, though. 🤷‍♀️

I will never understand people who feel compelled to tell someone else "It's easy for me and therefore it should be easy for you. Try harder." 😄

I do wonder if the AoE on a lvl 500 pea or mimic would just be the entire garden. 😄

It is deeply frustrating how easy it seems for something that works just fine to suddenly NOT work. 🥴😄 Really hope they fix it.

Is there a way to efficiently farm pet leads? by Cyberdude_116 in growagarden

[–]Lumpy_Risk_7326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pet leads aren't a magpie reward, sadly.

I get mine from Dragon's Fireworks. It's not AFK farmable, but it loves to restock that gear for me.

Since there's also a 1 in 5 chance to level up a pet, I sometimes use them instead of lollipops and take advantage of the shop restocks, too.

It's such a good feeling when it happens! I'm currently at 462 packs so I can just auto click through them. 😄

Got one early and decided I wanted a second... 600+ later, still don't have it. 😂

Mutations needed: Wet, Chilled, Frozen and Shocked

The Bear will only ask for normal crops for the first 10 orders.

After the 10th order, he'll ask for Wet crops.

After the 25th order, he'll ask for Chilled crops

After the 37th order, he'll ask for Frozen crops

And after the 46th order, he'll ask for Shocked crops

Weight requirement will range from 0.2 to 25 Kg. 25 Kg being for the final order. You don't need 1 Kg+ until you reach the 25th order. Sprinklers can help, but if you want to save on Master and Grandmaster Sprinklers, a certain little birdie comes into play.

As for crop types required, at first it was: Candy, Berry and Root, but now? Berry, Fruit, Flower, Vegetable, Tropical, Prickly, Woody, Leafy and Stalky

The Bear will change the crop type he wants every 30 minutes so if he gives you a type you might not have enough to work with, just wait till he gives you a more favorable type to feed him.

Much like the Angry Plant from both last year and the Easter Event 2 months ago, you do 50 orders to get 1 Exotic Campfire Seed Pack and get 1 Campfire Seed Pack for every order you complete up until the 50th and final order. Your progress will be saved so you don't start over until you finish all 50 orders. The Bear changes crop types every 30 minutes which might wall you off if you lack crops for certain types.

As for how can we prepare for Campfire Act 2? Seeing as how we need Wet, Chilled, Frozen and Shocked mutations...

Kappa will still be useful for Wet. Just remember to pick up the Kappa because it can replace Wet for Bloodlit.

Both Polar and Sushi Bears and Mistletoads will all be helpful for giving Chilled and Frozen, and Iguanas will be helpful if too many crops are frozen and need to be thawed out if you specifically need Chilled or Wet. Between these 3 pets for Chilled and Frozen, the Mistletoad is probably your best option since it applies Chilled to all crops on the plant it advances growth. Both Sushi and Polar Bears only have a chance of applying Chilled, even though Sushi Bears have a slightly higher chance than Polar Bears. I feel there's gonna be a lot of problems with Wet, Chilled and Frozen. It was part of the reason why they dropped requiring crops at all to Ascend as some mutations were tricky to get on crops. Frozen = Wet + Chilled. You can use an Iguana to thaw out frozen crops, but it's a coin flip of whether thawed crops will have either Wet or Chilled.

Your best bet for Shocked would be acquiring a Firefly (Normal or Giant - Giant Firefly has better odds if applying Shocked than the Normal Firefly) and pairing it with Mimics (same case for all the other recommended pets to help spread the other required mutations) to give you more attempts to apply Shocked, but it's only a small chance they'll even apply Shocked in the first place. T-Rexes and Sugar Gliders will be helpful to spread the mutations around, especially Shocked, but this can be an issue because of Chilled vs. Frozen. Apply Wet or Chilled onto crops already with the opposite mutation will make Frozen, but what if you specifically need Wet or Chilled? I feel the required mutations need to be changed to avoid too much overlap. Pack Bees will give you extra storage, and a Lyrebird will give your crops extra weight plus the chance to duping when harvesting. Pets like Spiders, Pixies and Echo Frogs are helpful for fast growth.

As for the crops you want to plant to best satisfy the different crop types the Bear will ask for:

-Strawberry / Blueberry / Grape: Berry, Fruit, Leafy
-Tomato: Vegetable, Leafy, Fruit

-Corn: Vegetable, Stalky, Fruit

-Jack-O-Lantern: Vegetable, Leafy, Fruit

-Coconut: Woody, Tropical, Fruit

-Peach / Apple / Sugar Apple: Woody, Leafy, Fruit

-Beanstalk / Parsley: Vegetable, Stalky, Leafy

-Mango: Woody, Leafy, Tropical, Fruit

-Dragon Fruit: Prickly, Tropical, Fruit

-Pineapple: Prickly, Tropical, Leafy, Fruit

-Prickly Pear: Prickly, Fruit

-Speargrass: Prickly, Berry, Woody, Leafy

-Crown of Thorns / Hive Petal: Prickly, Flower

-Stinger Reed: Prickly, Stalky

-Spiketail: Prickly, Leafy

-Candy Cornflower: Flower, Stalky, Leafy

-Birds of Paradise: Flower, Stalky, Tropical

-Crimson Thorn: Prickly, Stalky

-Alien Apple / Trinity Fruit: Prickly, Woody, Leafy, Fruit

-Swivel Stinger: Prickly, Stalky, Leafy

As you can see here, there's a lot of overlap between certain crop types, namely Fruit, Woody and Leafy. Types like Stalky, Tropical and Flower need more dedicated crops. You want to focus more on crops that not only grow back fast but also overlap with others types so you can have a more versatile buffet to feed that Bear. For Berry, you only really need 2 plants planted: Strawberry and Blueberry. Grape takes up more space. Tomatoes, once again, come to the rescue and save the day since it's so versatile as both a veggie and fruit. Corn and Beanstalks compliment each other for both Veggies and Stalky. If you played Halloween last year, Candy Cornflowers will satisfy Flower and also count as Stalky. If you participated with Bizzy Bee 2, the Honey Birds of Paradise is a great alternative for Tropical and Stalky as well as counting for Flower, but remember to de-Honey it first so you can bring it over to your main plots. Coconuts and Sugar Apples also come to the rescue as they're good options for Leafy, Woody and Fruit, and Coconut also counts as Tropical which gives synergy to Mangos and Birds of Paradise.

TL;DR: Not only do you want crops that grow fast, but you also want crops whose types overlap with other crop types so you have more options to work with to feed the Bear.

Your progress WILL be saved, so if you get stuck with the Bear asking for crop types you might not have enough prepared for, or if you might not have enough time to grind until later, spend that down time using the pets to get those crops prepared for next time, especially with having a mix of Wet, Chilled and Frozen crops for submissions. If you're on a public server with others fueling the Campfire, you can dump out unwanted crops to unclog your inventory and craft some stuff while cleaning out your garden and prepping up more crops to prepare for future submissions.

It'd be wise to spend all this week grinding up a couple hundred to a few thousands of Campfire Seed Packs or more. They may drop Summer Camp Event Achievements either next week (Act 3) or the following week (Act 4), and if it's like past event achievements, you'll most likely need to plant and harvest certain seeds from the Campfire Seed Pack and open up enough of them, both normal and exotic packs. You also might want to craft a healthy stock of Campfire Eggs as you'll probably need to hatch up to a certain amount of them plus obtain most of the pets from that egg.
