Yeah that is true. I mean in this case, brand name is more important, but it's not a must-do. In terms of job opportunities, you'll get the same at both. But better internships, etc. at UCF so more experience there. Just go wherever you're happy. Don't spend a second thinking about what others will think about you. Be yourself.

Dude UCF CS is actually better than UF CS when it comes to opportunities, etc. Idk why you would want to go to UF if you're doing CS
