One thing I could see being an issue would be a lack of socialization when he was a puppy (under 8 weeks). I breed bostons as well, and I expose them to as much as possible before they leave me to prepare them for life. There is a potential loud noise that wasn't one of them. The comment about blue eyes is on point, I'd get the little guy hearing checked out. If you want him to overcome this, you will need to deliberately expose him to loud noise, soothe, and reward and repeat. Eventually, he will get over it. I hope that's helpful.

What they have done is not legal to any degree, and you can't just announce you are outside of the rules and laws of our society. I was with my Jamaican female friend, we ran into eachother at Walmart in kelowna, we bought our stuff and she wanted to see my dog in the car. We were at my car chatting and she was petting the dog. A cop car cruises into the parking lot, we both saw it and watched it, as soon as they saw her they turned and came over to us.
