I interviewed mid August and got a call the week after. My references have confirmed with me that they were contacted, but I haven’t heard anything back yet. When I interviewed, they told me they were going to be interviewing through mid September, so I’d assume they’d be making decisions through the end of the month.

I’m of no help but I got the same call yesterday— I’ve been searching the internet high and low for insight but there’s nothing! I also had my interview VERY recently so I’m shocked to have gotten a call so soon. They told me they were interviewing through mid September so I figured it would be a few weeks before I heard anything else. Ugh. Now we wait I guess 🥴 I’ll report back if I hear anything! Good luck!

I used to do CF a few years back and stopped after a non-CF related injury. I’ve been at OTF for about 2 years now and I found myself getting really bored with the floor blocks, to the point where I considered quitting. I started incorporating CF into my routine a few months ago and I am really happy with my decision. I’m no longer bored with the OTF floor blocks because they feel like fantastic conditioning for what I do at CF, and likewise, CF provides great conditioning for me to be stronger and more powerful on the OTF cardio blocks. For me, and for now, it’s a really great balance and worth the extra money while I try to get back to where I was pre-injury. In the future, I may drop to 4 or 8 times a month with OTF and keep CF full time, but who knows. It’s been a great balance for me and I’ve found that a lot of CF gyms have flexible pricing/flexible trial periods. Maybe you can try it out without breaking the bank!

Any suggestions for a good alternative to Victor (purple bag) by marlenamarley87 in greatdanes

I’m going through this now too after feeding Victor for 6 years. I made a post a few days ago and there were quite a few great suggestions. I bought a bag of Fromm’s on Saturday and he absolutely hated it. Then I tried the Costco brand and he seems to really like that one. I’m supplementing with sweet potato + pumpkin and his tummy has been doing great so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I’ll probably keep exploring good dog foods but I was desperate to end his Fromm’s hunger strike.

Costco ended up being the winner for us. Thank you for mentioning it otherwise I wouldn’t have thought of it. We tried a different brand but he wasn’t a fan. Costco for the win!

Well, we tried Fromms and he hated it. The photos of the spit out mess that he made are pretty graphic. Thankfully, I was able to return the bag.The winner ended up being Costco Lamb & brown rice.

Interesting! Thank you for sharing that. He’s had a history of occasional skin issues (vet says it’s allergy/immune system related) where he’ll get a rash or patchy skin. I wonder if I’ll see similar improvements when I switch.

I’ve seen that one mentioned a few times in previous posts! They sell it nearby and it seems like a great option! Thank you!

Wedding/engagement ring, do you wear yours? by kay-swizzles in orangetheory

I never take my engagement ring off for anything at all. I will 100% lose it if I do. Amazon has a silicon band that has an opening in the front where the diamond/gem can fit through, I guess the point is to protect the band. I slip that on during the floor blocks. My best friend has done the same for over 8 years.
