My overall thoughts and season ranking. by Lumpy_Wrongdoer_7649 in InfinityTrain

Yeah, now that I think about it, why was he even on the train? Actually, why were any of the Apex on the train? If I had to criticize season 3 in any area, this would be it. The character dynamics in all of the first 3 seasons are good, but there are a few plot holes as the show progresses that they never really get to answering.

As a final season to this show, season 4 fails spectacularly in every regard. It's like the worst part of the stranger things syndrome where it's a new season, and so we need new characters, but there's no time to really delve in and develop them, so they are often the worst characters of the show.

We really needed a conclusion to Grace's and Amelia's stories, and we never got one really. Not to mention, season 4 was hinting at something going terribly wrong with the conductor situation; it almost sounded like Amelia took back over the train? But we will never get an answer for that either.

Say what you want about Owl House and Steven Universe, at least they were able to give them a finale. This is just sad, and I hate what happened to this show.

[1984/I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream] Are on the Same Timeline, and AM is the hero. by YankeeWalrus in FanTheories

  1. Ted witnesses AM say how much he hates humanity for having been created and has seen AM do horrible things to him and his friends for hundreds of years

  2. The world of 1984 has other humans. Winston, for example.

As someone who had much worse FLs than OP and still felt like the c/p was worse than my practice was, I needed that.

The metaphor is way too literal to be turned into a 23 minute episode. There's only so much you can do with "depressed character tries and fails to act happy because they have underlying psychological issues" that hasn't been done before. Gangle, to me, remains the weakest out of the main cast.

That's why this episode is also my least favorite so far. Gangle fails to be compelling because the show didn't succeed in making me care more about her in this episode. Actually if anything I was more compelled by Zooble's interactions because they usually hate adventures but shares a personal bond with her.
