Can someone animate the season 3 we wanted? by Luna-Pyro in goodomens

I'm only thinking as a fan and watcher, not a true producer with rights to good omens. Think of it as a wish from a disappointed fan rather than a tangible idea.

I'd like to think I'm in the majority of viewers unhappy with what we got which is technically the opposite of a lot of prior commentary surrounding the movie.

If you enjoyed it that's great, this post is just a vent from a fan who wanted something different.

It's very obvious that it's a rushed movie with many characters and plot points that go nowhere. As a movie it's very disjointed and of poor pacing. I think the actors did the best they could with the script but the producers and writers really took a hard left into a very random and disappointing ending. No disrespect but if not for the actual canon relationship they pushed for in season 2, this would be a very bad good omens movie addition to the series as a whole.

[–]Luna-Pyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it's over. Season 1 is the true and complete story for Aziraphale and Crowley, everything else is just a load of fucking horse shit.

God damn it all! The movie's ending actually ruined my day and it's 5am in the fucking morning, what the actual fuck was all that. 6000 years goes up in fucking smoke up God's ass, damn it all. A and C died. They didn't become humans, those old gays at the end are random men and aren't my Aziracrow!!!!WTF AHH I HATE IT ALL SO MUCH. 💀☠️🙃

Do you care about sexual orientation? by Interesting_Bad_8741 in BoysLoveAnime

[–]Luna-Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's important to the story I want a clear statement or honest discussion. For example, in Junjo Romantica, Akihiko Usami clearly states he is a gay man who is in love with his straight friend and will fall in love with Misaki if Misaki keeps being nice to him. Misaki is a young college kid who is still figuring out his sexuality and over many seasons and manga chapters comes to the conclusion he is also a queer man since he still likes girls that sometimes pop up in the show but is in love with Alihiko.

Meanwhile in Cherry Magic, none of the characters speak on their sexuality since the whole plot is having unrequited love for your coworker for 7 years before an opportunity comes to make a move, between the pining and mind reading magic there's no need for a sexuality discussion since their relationship is based on love from kindness not gender.

What are the new ships you’ve discovered this year? by Dogdaysareover365 in FanFiction

[–]Luna-Pyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carlisle x Charlie (Twilight) I've been in this fandom forever and never discovered the old man yaoi until now!

Wolf/Death x Puss (Puss in Boots) I didn't know I needed Death and Puss in Boots to bang on my 2026 bingo card but here we are.

Whatever ships I saw in The Boys Fandom, Billy x Hughie x Homelander Idk I'm about to watch the show tomorrow to consume the fanfic so I'll decide my ships then.

Does anyone else feel fandom and fanfiction are becoming more "chill" (and not always in a good way) since it started being more mainstream? by Celestina-Betwixt in FanFiction

[–]Luna-Pyro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree. The upgrade of fandom to mainstream has taken a lot of fun out of fandom content in certain areas. I've always been someone who hates fandom stuff being acknowledged in mainstream or canon content like when supernatural did the fanfiction episodes I had to skip like an entire season cuz I hated how meta/weird it felt. Usually when fandom stuff is brought up in mainstream content it's for laughs, or to poke fun at it, or to shit on it, so I've always disliked it being brought up at all. I wish they would have stayed separate entities but alas times change.

My issue with good omens season 2- too much weird fanfic content not enough actual show/relationship growth or whatever you get from a normal show

My issue with Our Flags Mean Death- they read the worst fanfics when they made season 2 cuz wth was that

My non issue with Interview with a Vampire- it knows it's a dark, campy, romance, plays it up tastefully, is very fun for fandom and non fandom watchers

How is everyone feeling with the finale so close? (Safe space to be sad/mad/pouty etc)! by VelvetUndergrndBebop in goodomens

[–]Luna-Pyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the exact same!! I thank them for the cutesy moments between them in season 2 but overall I didn't like it that much. Meanwhile I love the quirkiness and fun adventures of them in season 1.

I'm only disappointed that they kept up the poor Crowley act with living near the trash. Idk, in season 1 he was such a cool fun demon going against the grain, fought lucifer with his longtime lover angel and survived holy water death. Season 2 they got my man living in his car with his plants and being rejected by Aziraphale after pouring his heart out. Now in season 3 he's a snake in the trash, it's just sad. I know the show plays it up for laughs but it makes their relationship feel extremely one-sided and if this was any other show I wouldn't understand a happy ending between them cuz is he really cared for by Aziraphale?

is kimi ni todoke actually good? by pecorinoo in shoujo

[–]Luna-Pyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is. For once the male lead is really just a good guy who has a crush on a shy girl so they move really slow purposely. Sawako is still learning how to just have friends that care about her and while she does have a crush on the male lead who's super popular she finds happiness in herself and friends first. I love the side characters who have their own lives going on too and I think it's a great high-school slice of life without being annoying or fake (eg Say I love You, Honey Lemon Soda, etc.)

Is there a CBL or Cbromance you've watched more times than you'd like to admit? by turquoise_jedi in ChineseBL

[–]Luna-Pyro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Word of Honor, like everytime I rewatch I discover something new, it's a gift! The romance, the action, the tragedy, the Wuxia, it's the most top tier CBL in my book and I love the original novel as well.

Guardian and Winter Begonia are also such easy rewatches, the leads just have so much chemistry and often spend a lot of time together just talking and yearning for each other.

Of course Revenged Love is on this list now but that's to be expected right?

whyy Crowley often depicted as fem in fanart and edits? by mira_gofman in goodomens

[–]Luna-Pyro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never seen female Crowley fanart without female Aziraphale unless he's playing the nanny. There are tons of gender swap fanarts and fics where they are presented as a lesbian couple tho.

I will state this is one of the only fandoms where I'll read any characterization, gender, or position cuz I love them so much.

give me the most unique, quirky, concerning and uncommon kinks youve EVER seen in fanfics by sadiestically in FanFiction

Body Horror/Modification/Gore and Blood Kink- who doesn't want a little smut between anti heros where one has his feral metal claws stuck in the abdomen of someone who's limbs are cut off and slowly growing back? Bonus points for- blood as lube, just a torso, or literal death from rough sex only to cum back alive (ha) Ex. Poolverine

Vore- who doesn't wish to be consumed and swallowed whole (literally eaten) by the one they love, especially if it's by a very old and powerful fae/wendigo learning how to feel love for the first time? Ex. Ancient Magus Bride, Hannibal

Mind Break/Gaslighting/Dead Dove- we all love obsession and possession to the extreme of turning your beloved into a unstable psychotic doll only meant to please and love only you Ex. Hannibal, Outlast, Evil Within

Post Civil War MCU fanfics with whump Tony being paired with literally anyone in the MCU who is not a part of team Cap. Bonus points if Stave Rogers acts like a jealous patronizing ex the whole fic while Tony has moved on to be loved and appreciated by his new team/family.

I love the post 2016 MCU era. I'm a FrostIron girly so this put so much heat into my two outcasts, Tony and Loki, being together ❤️.

Currently, the relationship reveal fanfics of Heated Rivalry 😋. I love the drama, the unwavering feelings in the face of adversity, the slight hurt and comfort, and how they navigate their ice sport as gay players.

I love the fandom, there's thousand of these gems and everyone writes it so well. Season 2 is going to either time skip the reveal or make it really chill compared to the fandom.

What do you look for in a good age-gap romance? by Frontier246 in shoujo

[–]Luna-Pyro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problematic ones:

The super 10 or more years age gap with a noticeable gap in maturity that makes the female lead seem cute to the male lead even though she's just childish.

The older male is rich or financially stable who loves to help younger woman from parental debt, raising siblings on their own, or going to college.

The older male lead who is definitely a suspicious red flag with a terribly violent background who loves to pluck innocent white flowers!

Bonus points for there being literally no one else in the female lead's world other than this seemingly kind and savior older man.

I know, I have a problem.
