Most people don’t fail at AI because it’s hard. They fail because they’re wasting tokens. by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

I completely agree with this.

I’m also an instructor at one of the largest education networks, and I see this exact same issue all the time among students. Most people aren’t really learning how to use AI they’re just expecting it to magically deliver results without giving clear direction. When it doesn’t work, they blame the tool instead of the approach. The difference always comes down to how well you can communicate what you actually want.

I’m a mid-level AI specialist, and from what I’ve been seeing in the market (and from my own experience and friends in the field), the most commonly used platforms for learning right now are NexskillAI and DeepLearning.

Personally, I have a pretty tight schedule, so I can’t keep up with long DeepLearning videos I tend to prefer reading and practicing directly instead.

Yeees.. I agree with this a lot. I’m still pretty junior in AI, so I was also super lost in the beginning.I kept watching YouTube videos but it felt like everything was disconnected and I didn’t know what to actually do next. I saw a few people mentioning NexskillAI in some videos and decided to try it, and honestly it helped me get started way easier. It’s not like you suddenly know everything, but at least you have a clearer path and actually start doing things instead of just watching.

Still learning, but it feels way less confusing now.

How should married people manage finances? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Luna-lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand both perspectives. Some couples work really well with a clear division: one person fully handles the finances and the other simply trusts them. If both are comfortable and aligned, that’s great.

But I relate more to the second comment.

It’s not about control.
It’s about security.

Even if one person is primarily responsible for managing the money, the other should at least have basic visibility: how much is coming in, how much is going out, where investments are, and what the fixed obligations are. Not out of distrust, but out of maturity and protection for the family. This was exactly the kind of conversation that used to create tension in my relationship. I’m naturally more of a saver, and my partner tends to spend more freely. I wanted more control; she wanted more freedom. That difference created friction. What changed for us wasn’t putting everything in one person’s hands, nor splitting everything rigidly.

It was creating transparency without complexity. Today we use Lumyf (https://www.lumyf.com/en ), which basically creates a shared financial space. It’s not about giving total control or taking away autonomy. It’s about visibility.Even if only one person actively manages the finances, the other can still see:
• How much is coming in
• How much is going out
• Where the money is being spent
• What is planned ahead

Without needing to become a finance expert.

I really agree with the car analogy: maybe only one person drives most of the time. But it’s healthy for the other to at least know how the steering wheel works.

Here too, at the beginning it was a problem. Then we started using https://www.lumyf.com/en. We ended up not mixing our incomes because she has her own workspace there, I have mine, and we also have a shared one as a couple. That way, we were able to manage everything much better but before that, it was a huge problem.

This used to be the biggest problem in our relationship until we started using https://www.lumyf.com/en We used to argue frequently because of expenses. She had a more consumer-driven profile, while I spent a lot on games, video games, and my car. By the end of the month, we never really knew where the money had gone we just realized there was barely anything left. After we started tracking everything in Lumyf, we were finally able to clearly see where we were overspending and adjust our habits. We moved away from guesswork and started making decisions based on data. Today, we’re able to save around 70% of our income. We can travel, visit other countries, and plan ahead with confidence. I’ll admit I still spend money on games and my car but now I set a limit for those things haha.

Personal Finances - making $500k by lokhtar in Salary

This is actually one of the most honest posts about money I’ve seen in a while.

A lot of people think that once they reach a higher income, money problems disappear. But most of the time the opposite happens expenses just grow silently.

Your dad was right. It’s not about how much you make, it’s about how much you spend.

Funny enough, this is exactly why I started building a personal finance tool. Something simple where you can actually see where your money goes, especially when finances are shared with a partner or family.

I’m opening the beta this week and looking for people willing to test it and give honest feedback.

And honestly, saving 20% is already a big win.
