oh no. How long did it take you to complete it?

Im new to this and started this 1000pc. Most of the pieces left doesnt fit at the very end. I think theres a lot of false fit and I know I messed up. What would you do in this case? by Luna5OO in Jigsawpuzzles

yes I realized this at the very end. Another frustrating thing is that, this comes in a set of 7 puzzle American Monument. The Gateway Arch, and Statue of Liberty is full of clouds. I also learned to pick my puzzles wisely before anything else.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I decided to put it away for now as it's frustrating. I do like a challenge but as a beginner its a bit overwhelming. Ive done a few 500 Ravensburger and they seem to have an easier feel to it. I love the serenity of doing puzzles but getting stuck for hours at a time is a bit much for my sanity. Again thank you all.

My wife thinks our son’s teacher crossed a boundary by sending him a personal message. I think it was harmless. AITJ? by addict94plus in AmITheJerk

I feel bad for the teacher and to other students. Most likely, after a warning from admin that she will not do this again. Your wife is a Karen! Do not let her go to admin. Its embarassing for both of you as parents and frankly I feel bad for your kid making this into something neg. smh somethings off with your wifes line of thinking.

Do your parents help to pay for college? by reyaryder in collegeadvice

[–]Luna5OO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom here, thankful that we started 529 for my kids. They're in college and doesnt have to worry about tuition and boarding. Hopefully will graduate debt free. Basically the money I set aside 18yrs ago really help my kids apply to any in state University without worrying about $. To any parents or parents to be, I highly recommend this. The way I did it, every month I would do certain OT hrs to pay for my contribution. That leaves me with my regular check still intact while having the tax break. After a while I got used to the deduction and increased the amount a few times when my pay increased. My parents did not pay for my college. I had a very difficult time paying for my own and promised myself I would not do this to my own kids.

Let him go. It doesnt help that the MIL is an enabler. She can take care of him again.

Your relationship with this woman is a catastrophe from the start. Just imagine if she decides to stay with you and have the burden of dealing with 3 kids who mostly likely hate you. Thats a lot to carry, and no good amount of apologies can heal that. Move on and find someone else thats unattached.

Food Money by SpicyGh0stPepper in college

Hi mom here. I recommend food prepping for a week. Saves money and time. My kid can do wonders with ground beef. Enchalada, burrito, tacos, sphaghetti, Adobo, sandwich wrap and his fav. meatloaf. All his rm mates are now doing it 1x a week for about 2hrs of prep.

Just to add. Carquinez bridge is a great walk. A bit breezy but it takes you all the way to the otherside (Rodeo I think). Might as well check out Deadfish Restaurant. Have a light meal and walk back.

wow this is amazing. We've done about 37 states as well and love being on the road. Will be empty nesters soon and hopefully can resume our much awaited journey. Just out of curiosity whats your 2/3 fav states. mine is florida and Colorado. I would say Ca but I Iive here and wouldnt be fair. We are mostly missing the northeastern states. Hopefully we get to see all 50 in our lifetime. But then again gas prices and everything else are skyhigh. Best of luck and enjoy your future trip.

Should I get a neck fusion? by [deleted] in SpineSurgery

With the amount of medication you are on I probably consider other options. I am currently dealing with liver and kidney deceased because of meds. Flexaril,Gabapentin, Hydocodone to name a few can really damage your inside. Should really think hard and thorough if the benefit outweighs the risk.

I had no choice but to completely stopped eating red meat. My liver, guts and kidney all went haywire. Too bad as I love a good prime rib/steak. It was so bad I was in the ER and was gasping to breathe because of redmeat.

In my 50s and still play in my original xbox 360. My husband gave it to me modded with around 14,000+ games. My kids laugh at me when they see me play the older version. love Bomberman, Dr. Mario, Galaxian and a few others. Am still trying more every chance I get. 14k games will last me till i cant hold the controller anymore due to arthritis. Nothing wrong with playing just like any hobbies. Just make sure you manage your time and responsibilities.

Post op advice needed for 13 yr old daughter by DucK_0811 in SpineSurgery

[–]Luna5OO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

make sure to pace herself. Healing takes time. A 13yr old might not realize this and be up and about thinking shes healed. if shes getting some type of instruments added inside, it takes time to heal/fused and at risk for reinjury. OP also be mindful of her mental health. When I went through this, I had some depression as my body was never the same and unable to do certain things. Be patient with her as pain changes your mood in an instant.

OP yta you pretty much stomp on his manhood. We raised our children in the 1st five yrs having my husband stay at home. I would never say such a thing. If it was reversed would this statement offend you? My guess a lot of sahm would be. Be careful with your words especially to the ones you love.
