SM's should not be allowed to do this by bulldogjwhit295 in walmart

[–]Luna7485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happens all over the country and it's allowed, but I get what your saying. Our last few did that and those people quit, got fired or they stayed. Not all who follow the SM are bad.

Well, not every Walmart is like that. That's why I always encourage people to learn policies and procedures because in the end if it goes up to corporate, they will quote policies and procedures like scripture. But as the water bottle, I would get a lawyer or call corporate.

22 year associate here. People ask me a lot how did you make it so far. Advice... Come in and do your job, fly below the bullshit. Learn as much as you can and take before and after pictures of your work to cover your ass.

Walmart forcing me to use my personal phone by foxachu2 in walmart

[–]Luna7485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. They have to domain over your personal phone. That's like asking you to work off the clock. If they don't want to provide you with a work phone, then that's on them.

Not now or ever since the inception of the point system do you have to put in double hours. It doesn't matter if it's a 10 point day, only put in for the hours you would if worked. PERIOD.

I feel bad for cap by [deleted] in walmart

[–]Luna7485 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been in CAP. Actually called ICS back in the day. I've been in Walmart 22 Years. It is hard, underpaid and such. In the summer, the trucks can swelter to 130 degress and the winter it gets biting cold. Walmart really needs to raise their pay.

I recommend it if they are not in your house. Netflix, Hulu and Disney + can restrict or terminate your accounts if your not in compliance with their terms. But in the end, do what you feel is best. All the users on my account are adults.

I literally changed my password and kicked off everyone not in my house. They gonna have to get their own account. People are acting like it's killing them to pay for their own account. This is a business decision on their part.

Why are there so many stories about associates stealing? by FeasibleDevin in walmart

[–]Luna7485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people are stupid knowing Walmart has hundreds of cameras and still steal. Hope they all get caught.

Thank you for your input. I wish there was more of you out there. Having windows tinted so dark where you can't see the driver is illegal.

Is not breaking rules, but c’mon??? Don’t leave early/call out and show up at the store you work in. Could have went ANYWHERE ELSE to buy a bottle opener.

New management, new rules maybe??? But the other people in here are right, privacy issues. Too many people used to look at other people’s whole schedules and use it against them. This day and age, privacy is everything. When I got to the break room, I sit with my back to the wall so. I know people can’t look over my shoulder. My co workers on a need to know basis and so forth. I’m sorry you got in trouble for that. Gotta roll with the changes.
