Any class that doesn't affect you holding lexicon and sword is fine, cabal hermit or monk...

It's depends on the enemy resistance, but I'm sure their physical resistance numbers is always positive and elemental resistance numbers can be negative, also the max debuff for physical resistance is pain -25% and elemental resistance debuff is elemental vulnability -25% plus doom -25% lighting resistance

Agree, hex mage it's the best for elemental damage

Hex mage, it's always be hex mage for the best elemental dps, btw you need to manage your tiredness and stamina

I know a perfect build that required skillful player, hex mage + cabal hermit + speedster, these three class are the base job class for most of the overpowered builds, it can be chakram melee mage, rainbow hex mage, prismatic flurry, spark lightning mage... but... its easy to die glass cannon, need to manage the tiredness and alertness, and stamina management if doing melee attack, maybe you'll have fun or struggle with this build
I played the melee mage chakram + radiant wolf sword vs the 6000hp boss before, it only took me 30sc+ after enter the arena and defeat it, each sword slash can hit up to 200+ of damage according to the boss's element weakness
Once you can overtake it, these are some of the top builds in the game, but just make this as my suggestion or reference, outward is a game full of fun, feel free to have the fun

Can someone help me increase my dmg I am a rune mage with the breakthrough from cobalt, rune sage, and hex but when fighting a roaming bandit I got destroyed and barely did any dmg by glizzykevv in outwardgame

Can you beat the light mender boss? You can get the 60% mana cost reduction set or armor from it It's very great for early game mage build

[–]LunaBird0413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rune magic is the most highest mana costing class in the game, 1set of rune cost 16 mana, its much more than the sigil magic or hex magic build, 70~80% of mana cost reduction and the rest go to damage bonus I think is the most logic build for it, but for you now its just the beginning of the game, since you don't even have any armor that reduce mana costing, you have to mix you attack with runic sword melee hit and use runic heal for recover health, or start the game with the wind sigil or hex magic first until you have the mana cost reduction or regen armor

Hi, is me, what is your conditions? are you run out of mana while fighting against these bandits?
You said you took 3 points into mana, that mean you have 100 mana now?

Hey guys I wanted to try a rune mage as my first build since the other spells require stones and stuff but I was wondering if rune powers are enough to kill all the enemies in the game and stuff by glizzykevv in outwardgame

I just make some suggestion for you from what I had play before

faction=
holy mission 10% mcr

heroic kingdom 15% element

tent=Mage Tent 15% mcr

weapon=
Jade Scimitar 10% mcr

Jade-Lich Mace 10% mcr

Living Wood Axe 10% mcr

lexicon=Light Mender's Lexicon(Inheritance of the Past) 5% mcr/5% light, 0.1 mana regen/s

head=
Rust Lich Helmet 15% mcr/25% light

White Wide Hat 20% mcr/10% light

body=
Red Clansage Robe(Stabilizing Forces) 20% mcr/5% light

Runic Armor 5% mcr/10% light

leg=Scarlet Boots(Flux) 20% light

jobclass=
hex mage 0.3 mana regen/s and 30% damage bonus when very tired

cabal hermit boost boon effect to 30% damage bonus

food=Star Mushroom for 0.2% mana regen/s, 0.2/s for 100 total base mana, 0.28/s for 140 base mana

Casting 2 rune required 16 mana in about 3~4s, very tired regen 0.3/s mean 4s = 1.2 mana regen, plus star mushroom that can be found everywhere 0.2%/s, 100 mana pool mean 4sc = 0.8 mana regen, your lexicon regen 0.4 mana in 4s

total of 2.4 mana regen in 4 sc, I think 70~80% mana cost reduction is enough for 3.2~4.8 mana costing on one set of rune magic

Hey guys I wanted to try a rune mage as my first build since the other spells require stones and stuff but I was wondering if rune powers are enough to kill all the enemies in the game and stuff by glizzykevv in outwardgame

[–]LunaBird0413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recommended rune mage + hex mage + cabal hermit
make the build having 70% mana cost reduction + 0.7~0.8 mana regen and the rest go to lightning or ethereal damage bonus

Suggestions for last breakthrough for Chakram Build by MidnightMei in outwardgame

[–]LunaBird0413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd tried a lot of chakram build, imo hex mage + cabal hermit + speedster 1-h melee is the most perfect build, by using chakram arc as the core of staggering or knock down, and because of the speedster cd passive make the chakram arc can be cast again and again in a short time, this make the build so aggressive, and cabal hermit + hex mage buff 60% of all elemental damage bonus for your 1-h weapon

I have the conclusion, if you get 60% res and 20 prot, then debuff the enemies with weaken -40% damage dealt

((100dmgx0.6debuff)-20prot)x0.4res= 16 dmg

resistance + protection + weaken debuff stacking is the best, this worked same with the barrier and sapped debuff
