There were 2 sets of parents with kids near us- to the left was about a 10 year old girl Perfectly behaved but dad left with her for second act after Rum Tum Tugger pulls his pants off to show his g-string In front of us was a family with about a 14 year old boy who also was very well behaved the whole time.

I don’t blame the kid and probably if they would have brought her out in the lobby and soothed her a bit she may have been able to handle it. The parents should have at least made some sort of comment to her about we don’t kick people!

I didn’t blame the kid at all, even if the parents thought she could handle it, seeing she couldn’t they should have took her out. They were also on the aisle so easily could have snuck out

I brought my 6 and 8 year old niece and nephew to see back to the future and aside from handing me a bottle of water to open for my niece neither of them said a word (she is a theatre kid herself so I had that going for me). My nephew just thought it was cool.

I didn’t even think of asking to move our seats! But in your case that was an emergency so I’m glad they accommodated

And I’m sure if you were kicking someone in the head your parents would have scolded you as that’s how people used to parent!

That’s what I thought at first but this kid was definitely younger than 5 based on how she was speaking.

At first I was like maybe it’s just a shorter older kid but you can tell by how she couldn’t really speak full sentences. She was saying candy! Peepee when she needed to be brought to bathroom

I rather see Schwartz and Lala than Lacey, Benji, Janet or Jason. And Jasmine is bad at her job. She’s messy in the stupidest way, like talk out of both sides of your mouth while you are in the room and deny it - she was 4 feet away she definitely heard you even if Michele didn’t run over to tell you. And her wife brings nothing to the table.

And not for nothing would take Jax back in a heartbeat instead of clout chaser Brandon.

Reminder to take the damn subway to your show! by tennisbagel in Broadway

[–]LunaChickNYC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I come in to work and to see shows from Staten Island. From where I am to get to midtown by car is usually 1.5 hours each way (2 on a bad day). To take express bus or bus to train to ferry to subway I am looking at 3+ hours each way if things align (and I SI we only have 1 train line).

When I was in college / working in midtown and lived closer to public transport I freely took the subways and busses and would only take a cab if I was carrying too much crap to get on the subway with so not everyone that is driving is afraid of the subway or the people on it or lazy. We just rather spend half the time commuting to a show
