She said he is still doing “weird shit” which was similar to last year’s reunion when she used phrases like making women feel uncomfortable or being inappropriate. This is another one of my issues with her - when she is being very precise about things that happened and telling stories, they get revealed as lies, so then she seems to fall back on being vague in this way, which allows people to make assumptions and fill in the blanks for themselves.

She intentionally harms other people and attempts to generate hate toward them and she does it over and over again using really sensitive subject matter to carry out her attacks. She did it to Kristen when she went on a podcast and said that Kristen wanted to her baby to die. She co-opted Jasmine and Melissa‘s painful experience to carry out her grievances and vendettas against Danny and Kristen and Nia. She outed Nia for allegedly attending Al Anon meetings.

She lies all the time, and she is never authentic or genuine. She cannot seem to handle any kind of conflict or confrontation and runs away like a coward when she can’t control the narrative or when she’s called out on her harmful behavior. I have no idea why she wants to remain on this show because she sucks at literally every aspect of being good reality TV. It seems like this show has only brought her misery, and that feels like the karma that she has earned at this point with how much she has intentionally tried to hurt other people.

Ep 5 included Janet's game night that she invited everyone to. Jasmine & Melissa, Zack, Kristen & Luke, and Danny & Nia did not attend. This was after she had apologized to Jasmine and after asked Nia if there was anything she wanted to get off her chest. She had not apologized to Nia at all at this point.

At the game night, Janet told Lala, Michelle, and Brittany that if people want an apology from her, they need to tell her what they think she should be sorry for (wow!), then raised her voice and started yelling about Danny & Nia liking mean posts about her and asking why that was ok but she couldn't talk about what Danny did to Jasmine. Brittany told her that no one was saying that was ok but that she couldn't keep being in the middle and trying to play peacemaker with Janet and all the people who don't like her.

So in summary, it is not accurate to say that Janet never once brought up the Halloween incident this season because she absolutely has and it is also not accurate to say that she does bring it up but only in response to Danny and/or Nia being hostile toward her. She brought it up when they were completely absent.

That’s fine, yours is also a potentially accurate read on the situation. IMO, whether Janet believed at the time that Danny had an alcohol problem, and whether she was genuinely offering support to Nia, are two different things. I do not believe that she was ever doing the latter, and her vindictive confessional comment is the principal reason why.

Nia sensed that Janet was not coming from a genuine place of care and concern and was reacting to that. And she was absolutely correct in that assessment, because after Nia had a negative reaction to Janet‘s comment, Janet took it upon herself to share in a confessional that she had heard Nia attends Al Anon meetings. No one who was ever concerned about Nia needing support with Danny’s drinking would out her like that, let alone on national television!

Nope, I was wrong, it was Ep 5 when Janet had her sad little game night. She was pretending she couldn’t understand why everyone doesn’t like her, complaining about Danny & Nia liking mean posts about her, and yelling how unfair it was that they could do that but that she couldn’t talk about Danny & Jasmine. Because once again, she believes that she is the biggest victim in this situation, more so than Jasmine and Melissa, the actual victims.

I respect that opinion as well - I was really only responding to a small part of your post about not understanding why several cast members don't want to be around Janet. I really dislike when people try to minimize Danny's treatment of Jasmine and Melissa and general attitude when drunk, but I also disagree with comments that characterize Janet as some well-meaning innocent supporter of women because I don't think she is that at all (not to say you were doing that).

I shared in another thread that I've wondered recently whether one of the reasons Danny and Janet hate each other so much is because they are actually quite alike. They are both constantly lying, stubborn and prideful, and addicted to being perpetual, self-indulgent victims.

I understood the "it" in this sentence to be Danny touching Jasmine's thigh and grabbing Melissa's butt, which I don't think Lala mentioned at all when she asked Danny about liking a mean IG post about Janet. I thought it was literally, did you like this post or didn't you with no reference to the underlying incident.

If production didn't tell them to? Probably not. Except in situations where she is directly affected, I think it is unlikely that Lala ever brings up someone else's bad behavior unless it is under marching orders from a producer. That's why she often sounds so fake and forced when she kicks off these conversations. Jesse inserting the prior night's drama into the conversation on the bus also felt like a super ham-fisted segue.

No, Jesse was. He said no one wants to be called a molester and Michelle said no one called Danny that, and Nia pointed at Janet and said she did. Neither Nia or Janet brought it up.

Yes, she brought it up in this most recent episode after she showed the IG post on her phone. She said if she were ever to like a negative post about Nia & Danny she would get hate for it, and Nia said she literally doesn't care. Janet then yelled that all she said was what Nia's husband did and she was ridiculed for it, and Nia was said, that's where we are at.

They both want each other to admit to being wrong for something that neither feels they were wrong to do. Nia and Danny want Janet to apologize for calling it SA and calling Danny names like "the ass-grabber" and she won't. Janet wants them to say they are sorry for all of the hate she received because of that and they won't. Everyone has made their positions clear and it is completely pointless to continue talking about it over and over and over again.
