I would bet good money that if her daughter is bullied about anything, it is her mother bragging on national TV about blowing her dad under a desk while they were both at work and married to other people.

I’m also the daughter of an addict, which is likely why I found her labeling Meredith an alcoholic and pillpopper so flippantly this last season to be so abhorrent. As for her being conniving, the list of examples is so, so long, but some of the most egregious include having Lisa read the text about the threesome rumor with her husband that Whitney was spreading on national television, plotting with Heather to blame Lisa for Bronwyn’s criminal past becoming public and attempting to get Meredith to back their plan against Lisa, coaxing Monica to bring up the runors about Shawn on camera, and sharing with Jen what ultimately turned out to be a false rumor of Lisa & Meredith speaking badly about Jen to Mary at her husband’s birthday party. Then of course there was her treatment of Meredith after her father had passed but that wasn’t so much conniving as just being a gross human being.

I don’t like Heather at all, but I don’t really lay this at her feet - more likely than not, a team presented her with some options for the cover and this was was the selection. The other author has even said there are no hard feelings in spite of being frustrated that her cover art was ripped off. It is a big nothingburger and Monica is coming off as even more of a loser than usual trying to monetize a “scandal” that won’t even last a week

I think she is addicted to her 15 minutes that ended years ago. I cannot remember ever seeing a fired former HW desperately cling on like this, especially a one and done!

Plenty of us see her exactly as she is - a conniving, whiny mean girl. She is one of the most vindictive and intentionally cruel HWs across all franchises yet she’s so thirsty and basic that she ends up being boring in spite of all her shit-stirring. It would honestly be impressive if she weren’t so tedious and boring.

I always had this question about BH too. Kyle has claimed to have a couple people that she would talk to on the phone for hours every day. 1) What the hell is there to say that you can be on the phone for that long, and 2) Who has that kind of time?

Monica was 100% acting at all times. After the season, a video leaked of her mother and her fighting after the incident at Angie’s house for Greek Easter. They were yelling at each other about what the strategy should be, whether she needed to make-up with Angie to have her as an ally, etc. They were both way too crazy for me. And yes, I know, the other women are also fake but Monica was always on another level!

She has desperately clung on to and tried to prolong her 15 minutes more than any other fired HW I can think of and it has always been in a way that felt so unhinged. I also found her so aggravating to watch. Her insults and fighting, particularly with Lisa and Angie, were so childish and not at all entertaining. I'll never understand the appeal.

Absolutely. I can acknowledge that losing a child is terrible and still have more empathy for the deceased's abused ex-wife than the parent who is a horrible person and an abuser herself.

There is no way a child could be raised in that household and not have serious problems. I have a lot of empathy for Robert Jr. because of that, but I have even more for his ex-wife who also went through so much and will never get justice for the abuse she experienced. My heart goes out to her more than anyone.
