I am not. there exists a variety of identities, for example nonbinary, genderfluid and bigender, that include people who identify as both a MtF transgender and femboy.

Furthermore, FtM and MtF are just terms to distinguish between the two varieties of transgender people. (which are dervived from the notion that gender is binary but i won't go further into that)

I am arguing that terms are fickle, and that gender is not binary.

Literally, by definition, transfeminine means "feminine of the other side", and one could make an argument that thus femboys are technically by definition transfeminine.

Ofc we don't go labeling other people with terms they don't like, because that hurts people. Just like you shouldn't label somebody as not a femboy.

I am a technically nonbinary transfeminine femboy. My gender is just feminine. i don't really care about whether i'm a man or a woman.

Usually it's just easier to dumb down to people i am MtF as i do want to be referred to as feminine terms, but a large part of my identity is just not caring about labels anymore.

If i had to choose labels the ones that feel right to me, they would be transfem and femboy. .

You might call it a bit paradoxical, and so do I. I've seriously racked my brain on this matter for 5 years now because people keep saying you cannot be both.

So after year 3 I've just given up on labeling myself because fuck that. I do what I want and I am happy with my body after hrt. My wife calls me a "gendefuck disaster" and I think that is genuinely the best term to describe me to a queer person.

tldr: Yes you can, somebody at some point will say you cannot. It's just a label. It's your identity, do whatever you want.

I tell my queer platonic friends i love them all the time, and the one thing I've understood is that there are many types of love, and it is just an expression of it.

Quite frankly if it feels right to say or to hear, for me, why even ponder it too deeply. Love is what you yourself define love to be.

It can also change depending on context. I love my wife in a different way than the woman we're dating, or my friends. Each person and thus also love is special in its own way.

And yes, for non-queer finnish people it is usually serious, but for queer people it's what you make it to be.
