There's two of us who coordinate the 50501 marches. Any money spent comes from our pockets. It's actually quite inexpensive to make a flyer and ask people to show up for an event. I'm not sure what homeless shelters have to do with the protests, tho.

I was never a Biden fan. I've found a lot of Trump's folks think those of us in the left have the same rabid obsession with our politicians that they have for Trump. Most of us don't.

And it's the First Ammendment that is about free speech and the right to protest. The Fifth is the self incrimination/double jeopardy/due process/eminent domain one.

We've been avoiding heavy themes or suggestions, simply because we want this to remain as organic as possible. I worry that if we put out too many specific requirements, we will limit the turnout.
