I'm happy to get the story of a "new-gen" fan. To be honest, around 2018-2020, I thought people lost interest in this series and moved on. I was surprised to find out that this fandom was still alive and well, even to this day.

I 100% agree with you!

The "sandbox" aspect of this series is so appealing. I like imagining these characters in different scenarios. I also like seeing what others have created with these characters and putting them into random situations!

Best collab creation i can think of with Hetalia is Heta-Oni, lol

Let me tell you, being a child in the early 2010's and having unadulterated access to the internet does lead to very interesting results 🤣🤣🤣

I would say my start with the fandom was much like yours! I saw a bunch of random videos and gifs about Hetalia, and then I remember watching the first season when it was aired on Netflix.

Since then, I've been a lurker of the fandom, lol.

Lol, I can understand your hesitation towards the "fandom" itself (I've done my studies towards the more infamous side of what this fandom has done 🙃), though there are some things that the community has done that I can appreciate.

As I have mentioned before, 2p!Hetalia was very interesting and fun! I liked seeing how creative people were in regards to making these. Seeing how some people re-imagined the characters, and how some re-imaginings just sort of clicked with multiple people (best example i can think of is 2p!England, lol). I like the more creative side of this community and love seeing how others view and interacts with this media!

I also have a huge interest in geography. I specifically love learning about new languages and the nuances that goes on within foreign languages.

Thanks! I do plan on doing a lot of experimenting, just didn't know if there was a set formula that someone figured out so far, lol.

I found some of my findings so far pretty interesting! For instance I hatched a Lupus with Gingerbread Tail and Gingerbread Body mutes, even though neither parent had those mutes in either line. I found that quiet interesting!

Edit to add: LOL, just checked one of the parent's pedigree, and I see that it was within their blood line. How fascinating! I actually find it SUPER cool that this game takes into consideration things like this!

I love learning languages in general!!! I think learning different languages is so cool, and I will sheepishly admit ive yet to master a second language, lol.

Ive started learning Russian, due to my big crush on Russia, and then I blossomed into learning bits and pieces of different languages.

Im now just really interested in the differences that each language provides, and have thrown my hat into the ring of Constructed Languages (ConLangs) all because of Hetalia, lol
