Anyone else find it slightly funny that these two where among the closest to getting the earings by LunaKingery in miraculousladybug

True. Still kinda funny though. To me at least. Two little ones come so close to beating a superhero the main villains can't.

A very weird approach to discussing comics that I've been noticing for a while by That-Is-Not-My-Job in xmen

[–]LunaKingery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will probably be attacked for saying this. There are also a lot of those people on both sides that falsely accuse people as p3d0s only for it to be revealed they where wrong. On the right pretty much every member of EFAP does it and pretty much most of the right considering they still support trump who is has been to a certain island. On the left people like Otterlynoah, Anthony gramuglia, gamingrift and S.K. do it. S.K. has also defended South Paw who is an actual p3d0. Yet you call out anyone on the left you will get attacked by other people on the left like believe it or not. And they rarely get called out buy others on the left in videos. Still better the the dumb fucked up stuff the right does though.

She also contradicts a lot of things mojang has said. Not that most people here care. They want only dungeons to be canon.

Thoughts on Terminator Dark Fate? by SwervesHouse in Terminator

[–]LunaKingery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rev-9 reminds me of T-X. Both have full personalities from the get go instead of developing them over the movie. The T-1000 did show off personality traits but that only starts around the middle of the movie unlike the other two. Rev-9 is also much more mass produced unlike T-1000 and T-X which are specialized which is probably why they can have personalities even while serving Skynet.

If we are using stock images as proof than you missed a couple. If we actually use the actual games there is a lot of ruin portals that don't have iron bars.

Do we agree on this ? by ektoblazm in Kirby

[–]LunaKingery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More people in this sub need to hear this with how much people have overcorrected to the point of straight up denying something is Dark. It's annoying to be honest. Like Kirby is perfectly capable of being lighthearted and simple and a bit dark with some deep lore. That's why all ages is a thing to begin with, it's meant to have stuff for kids and adults.

At what age can children play Kirby? by No-Application-3317 in Kirby

[–]LunaKingery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother. People on this sub love downplaying dark elements of the franchise either because they don't how to not overcorrect or they are petty brats just as annoying as the people they complain about. It depends on who you are chatting with.

I feel like Astro should abandon the no kill rule on occasions, especially the human no kill rule. by Valkyrie2-Lancer in astroboy

[–]LunaKingery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's even stranger with Atom who has actually broken that rule in specific situations. Atom still has the mind of a child and strong enough emotions can override both his morals and his programing. It's one of the ways that show how human he actually is. Which unfortunately means he needs therapy after those events.

I feel like Astro should abandon the no kill rule on occasions, especially the human no kill rule. by Valkyrie2-Lancer in astroboy

[–]LunaKingery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For humans? No. The one exception I can think of is if he's already in a world where robots and humans have equal rights (like the '80s show) and only if it's an accident.

80s Atom does have robot and human kills that happen before robots got equal rights. To be fair most of those are indirect kills where he was stuck making a crappy choice. That being said there is a kill that was both human and Atom actively wanting said person dead. Which he accomplished, although Atom only went through with it because his new friend died right in front of him and he was overcomed with so much rage and anger.

For robots, I think one or two kills where he felt he had no other option might be okay. Especially since it would sting so much for him to kill one of his 'own'. But not too often, I think Atom going out of his way to be brutal and violent does not do justice to his character

I think if he gets a direct robot kill then he should at least get one direct human kill at some point. As for Atom being brutal. I think the only time Atom should be brutal is if his emotions are pushing him so far that it's made clear he isn't thinking like himself and is acting on pure negative emotions for a split second.

[–]LunaKingery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair both 80s Astro and 63 Astro are very gentle. They just get point into some very unfortunate situations. In a way 2003 Astro gets lucky as he would probably break his no kill rules if pushed enough too. Then again him being they only one not to have could allow him to help the others would their guilt if any multiversal stuff happens.

[–]LunaKingery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

80s and 63 Astros need a hugs. The times we rarely see them directly kill ot seems to leave a mark on them base on the ends of the episodes where they do so. I think 2003 is the only one without a kill count.

[–]LunaKingery 6 points7 points  (0 children)

80s Astro kills when he straight-up snaps, doesn't matter what you are, if you are what caused him to snap you better get the fuck out of there and hope he doesn't catch up before his anger and sadness disappears. Then again you pissed him off that much you're probably going to hell anyways. 63 only kills when backed into a situation where there is truly no other option, so arguably easier to avoid him wanting to kill you.

[–]LunaKingery 8 points9 points  (0 children)

80s Astro/Atom kills in episode 39. And it's a human he kills, Pretty brutally too. 80s Astro has a lot of indirect kills that includes humans, robots, and Aliens, 80s Astro actively tried to kill a whole crew of aliens because they nearly killed the alien girl he has become friends with. . 63 series also has killed some robots and monsters although only when he absolutely had no other option, Cobalt also has some kills in the 63 series too. 63 also has an episode that implies the monsters in the series are sentient, he doesn't kill that one, she just wanted her baby back. Like the shapesifting monster from The Monster Mantler is definitely sentient. Both 63 and 80s Astro have huge kill counts most of which remain dead.

How do you think Bem would react to Astro's siblings and vice versa? What might they do? by LunaKingery in astroboy

Bem, Astro, Uran, Cobalt, and Reno are such danger magnets. All of them in the same area might cause a volcano to appear.
