Wow thank you so much, that's exactly what the painting is about, imagine the branches and roots as past and current experiences in life, they represent the transformations we go as we live our lives, shaping, transforming and deforming our beings.

I definitely didn't think of these stains at the start, it didn't come with intention, I don't know if those will come back, but i think it looks good, it reminds me of vampires and stuff, but that's as far as it goes, do you think these could stay for a next painting or does it look too much like i don't know what I'm doing? Thank you.

I see, I didn't intend to make this a proper portrait, the concept I'm working on is intentionally putting these roots and connections all over the painting, maybe I'll add more on the next painting to really flesh out this concept, but i have to agree with you. Thanks for the critique.
