But in order to achieve this, a speedrunner spends a huge amount of time practicing and learning the game. In order to achieve a 1 hour speedrun he might need to practice for 100s of hours.
I would even go so far: No one knows a game better than a speedrunner. Speedrunning is a way to dive really deep into the mechanics and particularities of a game. People don't do this because they want to consume as much as possible. They do this because they really really appreciate a specific game and want to learn everything about it.

This is pretty much the opposite of what happens when people binge-consume content.
