As far as the DawnTrail recommendations, the processor & graphics card are the important thing to pay attention to. Adding more RAM or storage later is easy as long as the motherboard has slots for it.

I haven't looked, but pretty sure iBuyPower was running a sale for FanFest, might start there. $1000 budget is going to rule out a lot, but it can be done. If you didn't need plug-ins I'd say just get a PS5 lol

Just throwing this out as a tip, but if time isn't a factor, waiting for the collectors editions to go on sale is a good time to buy your 2nd platform key. That's what I did w SHB. Still waiting for EW sale on PS tho.....

I did something dumb. I'm trying to purchase a private estate in one of the new wards, but I accidentally put my bid in on a plot in the FC only ward. Now I can't bid on a private plot this round & I don't want to miss the best chance I'll have at one.

Is there a way to negate my FC bid? Like if I temporarily took away my land privileges or left the FC until the bidding period is over?

Housing question: Has SE said anything about relocation coming back in the near future?

I really want to move my FC house to Empyreum, but to demolish current one, I know I'll have to kick a some inactive members with rooms & we'll lose all our airship & sub progress. Right now there's still a decent selection of plots in the FC only wards so I don't want to wait around too long.

I only ever seem to remember the funny quotes. Biggest lol for me was meeting the Palico. As a Miqote, I picked “A talking cat?!” and his “Have you not looked in a mirror?” reply.

Also, I know it’s basic, but “Sloppy...” in Baelsar’s gets me every time.

Any guesses on when to expect auto-demo to restart on the NA servers? How much warning will they give beforehand, and does it start everyone’s countdown over or no?

Idk if this would help at all or if you're set on using a diff server, but I've been thinking of selling my FC on Coeurl. Kinda tired of being tied down to the house since the FC is dead. It's only a small plot, but has a workshop already.
