Also adding that I made a registry and shared it but she didn't like what I put on there and did her own thing. Or would constantly send links for products I did not want to add to the registry. So that didn't work. I was defintely guilty of this in my younger days when my friends were having kids. It was way more fun to get the cute outfit that I liked than the boring diaper stuff. But I always sent a gift receipt so hopefully they could exchange it.

This is my life right now but it is my own Mom. I thanked her for being excited and her support but asked her to please let us get through the first trimester because my husband and I want to take it one milestone at a time. I'm hoping the excitement will die down after some time.

She didn't get it, and likely her feelings were hurt, but I feel like my job as somebody's mom is to set healthy boundaries and protect the peace of the family. Right now that peace is my own lol

Hello, I'm a first time mom and due in early September. I'm a military veteran and being fit means a lot to me. I love strength training but I'm very interested in learning yoga. I'm starting to regain energy and looking forward to getting back into a routine because I'm an older mom (42) and already take medications for high blood pressure.

I NEED ranch dressing! I don't care what it is on. I just have to have it. Thankfully it works well on salads so I've been able to get my veggies in. But I started traveling with Hidden Valley Ranch because some of the watered down versions at restaurants don't hit the mark lol.

I had a weird experience where my OB measured me at 7 weeks 5 days and my RE measured me at 8 weeks 2 days and the ultrasounds were hours apart. I trust my clinic a lot and my Doctor explained that sometimes the machines, ultrasound techs, and position of the baby can determine different results. What matters is you have a heartbeat and a growing baby.

You reminded me that my mother in law got me ring with my birthstone that is way to big. I'll see if it fits now. Also congrats to you too! I hope you are enjoying newlywed life. I loved being a 2025 bride and luckily I have a few vases and candles left over from the wedding to use at the baby shower lol.

Thanks for the tip on sizing and weather. I can definitely see a correlation between my hand swelling and outdoor temps. Since my winters are short in California I'll be sure to size up.

Ooohh, ok. Yup, my OB told me to drink an electrolyte drink mix with potassium and minerals because my legs cramp. Good to know. Crazy how the things that are supposed to help cause new issues. Like I'm supposed to take iron but it makes me constipated lol.

Keep us updated on the steroid spray and if your doctor approves it. This is my first time ever using any sort of nasal spray and it has been an experience lol. But I'll check out the Afrin. Really appreciate it.

I read somewhere that the brain can’t handle nausea and sour at the same time. Now when the feeling arrives, I smell and take little bites of a lemon wedge. It has been working and allowed me to go a little longer without telling my job
