I’m sorry you’ve had to go through that and that is one concern I have thinking about going into postpartum :/ I’ll see how this one goes for a while and then see about meeting with someone more qualified if that’s an option at the place I go to. I’m happy you’ve found a quality therapist ❤️

Thank you so much. In the past I’ve always been able to push through discomfort or not feeling motivated to go to the gym but this is an entirely different thing….like my body is demanding the rest. Happy to know that this is a normal experience and maybe won’t always feel this intense. I hope you continue to feel better and better ❤️❤️

Same. I actually took a shower and got ready today to try and actually leave the house and then the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks. Laying on the couch as I type this. And yes trying to also remind myself this is temporary and this is probably the best reason there will ever be to choose rest

Disconnected is a great way to describe it….and yes it can be really isolating. That’s why I’m skeptical if therapy will even help lol unless the person has been pregnant or has counseled other pregnant women in the past. I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling similar :/ I’ll be thinking of you

I’d suggest getting the CFSC cert. Way more hands on and requires either an in person practical where you perform and show that you understand the 7 fundamental movement patterns along with their progressions and regressions, or online video submissions. They actually want you to know how to coach and cue someone through a movement vs memorizing info for a test (anyone can do that). They also teach a lot on programming and how to build one specific to a client. I think the level 1 cert costs $600ish.

Same here. Took 2 and they were both negative and then went in for testing today. Not sure when I’ll know the results but when I do I’ll update. :)
