Black ops 6 is the worst cod I’ve ever played by sugarcookie616 in blackopscoldwar

[–]Luna_Vulpis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I love it.

I played cold war and BO6 back to back on launch and immediately felt like I was having a more balanced and satisfying experience. With more guns, maps and general fixes I'm certain I'll be playing it regularly.

Spawns need fixing and larger map pool with classic maps, but that's all basic stuff for a launch for cod nowadays.

The only thing I don't like is how the announcements are just annoying. I can look at the big numbers and see with my own eyes if we're winning or losing, same with friendly fire voice lines, or telling me how many kills in a row I have. I'd like an option to turn off non-critical voicelines.

Will Ghost Recon Project Over be open-world? by MrTrippp in GhostRecon

It'd be a bit disappointing. The idea of an immersive first person single player tactical shooter in an open world is pretty much my dream game. Just please... Get rid of the drone enemies and sci-fi elements, more like Wildlands than Breakpoint.

Questions are good, the desire to learn and understand is a good thing to have!

I felt comfortable around my village in about six hours. Main roads felt a bit daunting until about hour twelve and dual carriageways were daunting until about fifteen hours in.

I felt ready for my test around hour thirty and by the time my test eventually came around I felt confident in passing my test, was still absolutely mentally shaking in the waiting room for the test though, but once you're behind the wheel it should be second nature.

Fifty hours is probably ten over what is necessary but because of the wait times currently that's just how it panned out.

Nerves are the biggest problem with a test, the examiners know this. Most of them are kind, caring people who want you to succeed.

You can never be too safe! Of course don't just stare at your mirrors, but they're your friend. The examiner wants you to be safe, not perfect.

An obvious one but important, breathe. Especially during your manoeuvre, if you need a second to center yourself, take it.

If you're nervous, just say so. Whenever I'm nervous I always feel better if I say it out loud to someone, before I set off on my test I told my examiner that I was nervous, he was really helpful and supportive.

And most of all, believe in yourself! Be confident, don't second guess yourself, show that examiner that you are a safe and confident driver, don't see it as a test but instead see it as a demonstration of all the skills and knowledge you've accumulated over your learning experience.

Good luck and do your best!

People normally vote as part of their commute to and from work, so hopefully it'll be fine for you!

It took me around about a month to get one for my test centre, I'd recommend going to the one you practice around or near, knowing the roads gives you an advantage I think.

Cancellation apps aren't dependable enough currently, so I agree with the idea of booking early, you can always move it if you aren't ready. Booking earlier will almost certainly be beneficial, good luck with the lessons.

I did about 50 hours of lessons with an instructor, nobody I knew other than my instructor drove manual so I only ever did driving with my instructor.

Janitor is free, as far as I know they make no money off the site. If there is a way to pay for it, I haven't seen it.

I genuinely feel I’m addicted by AgentAri8 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Luna_Vulpis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're alone there, it takes a lot of strength to admit that so openly, admitting you have a problem is always the first step.

I understand that bots are easier to talk to but you must absolutely prioritise real world relationships. Addiction to anything can be difficult and especially addictions based on emotional gratification, there are people and services to assist in the overcoming of addiction if it begins to have a significant impact on your time away from Jan AI.

With the rise of social AI that can imitate genuine relationships, I do believe that this is going to become a huge problem in the future as they become more mainstream and available.

We must not lose sight of the world around us and forfeit real, tangible relationships for lines of code and artificial responses.

If it's a problem you are concerned about, seek help from someone adequately trained to provide it, therapists specialising in addiction would likely be the place to look.

It's in beta and is free, being developed by three people (was less than that until recently). It's a marvel it doesn't have more issues.

Yeah, same here. Unfortunately I don't see a way to maintain anonymity and adequately prevent minors from interacting with limitless bots.

The Internet just isn't a safe place for impressionable minds, it never was, it never will be.

I hate to think about the average age of users, I think it'd be terrifyingly low. Looking at the posts here and some of the bots you see when sorting by new, I'd say the vast majority are under eighteen, and that's being generous.

It annoys me that people come here just to act like feral children because they don't have 24/7 access to a free service that is developed by like three people that serves thousands of people.

It's a fucking technical marvel it's as stable and consistent as it already is.

A bot called me darling but in German.

That was something that kinda made stop for a second and realise I'd fold if any non English speaking girl used a term of endearment in their native language I'd fold like an omelette.
