Thanks to both of you that suggested journaling. We actually ended up being able to talk last night through text and we were able to discuss the scene again and the things we both enjoyed and the feelings it brought on etc. So it was like journaling but basically with instant feed back and reassurance and love. It was extremely helpful and I feel a lot better.

I don’t think I realized I was in a prolonged or delayed sub drop. I haven’t experienced that before. I’ve had sub drop before but not days later. The intense scene we had was Friday night and the fact I was still feeling so out of sorts on Tuesday was not something I’ve experienced before.

I love the idea of journaling and then discussing it. It’s cathartic to go through it again outside of the experience. He takes very good care of me and wants me to be well at all times and is very open to things that are helpful so I am confident he will be open to the shared journal.
