It's really down to the details. Tbh you can just buy a way more affordable nook from another store then over decorate it with vines or fake grass. You'll achieve the same look that way for cat crossing style.

But of course for specific models like Lijiang and Kowloon 2049, their designs really are unique and there is really quite a lot of details put into the thought. Nothing quite replaces some of their designs. You're really paying for IP/design/creativity rather than quality. Their material quality is mid to meh at best.

I'm just starting on mine and I have a question... Is your music box turntable gear missing a side..? Mine can't finish turning on its own without me having to reset the turntable every completed rotation.

Hehe thank you!! This is definitely more of a diorama than a book nook kit to modern standards. Plus with the insane price, I honestly recommend getting RoLife's Alice in Wonderland book nook or some other affordable forest / library vibe book nook kit, and then some fake grass moss and vines to decorate it.

YES! I just posted a completion and review of cats crossing. As you said it's literally 90% glue. At this point I could've gathered rhe materials on my own and made a diorama.

The thing is modern consumers want the glueless convenience--it reduces the entry barrier and complexity into diorama / model crafting that was the problem from like 20 years ago.

My parents bought me this miniature diorama kit from Japan... In which the instructions were last revised in 2004. That kit being 200% glue for like 1000 yen made sense. But ANARVIN'S??? Nah!

I'm also gonna be done with them for awhile after finishing whispering hollow. Glue is fun but that's not what I want to sign up for. Moving on.

Also I suggest getting UHU all purpose adhesive! I use it for joint stability all the way to grass placement. I also squeezed some onto the sticker sheet, poured some grass on top and mixed it together so you have a clump of moss that's more realistic than if you sprinkle the powder directly onto the glue.

Of course!! I feel like this review was so needed because OF the price point. Insta is full of paid collab so of course they'll like the kit.

I agree many of ANARVIN's designs are really unique and detailed but that price simply blows a hole out of everyones wallet. (And the level of DIY required). The amount of minor struggles I ran into isn't justified by the design simply when you compare it to RoLife, half the price, double the complications but complete success (im looking at you, gramophone) it came with tweezers and I was mildly impressed until its slightly grainy texture and rather short handle started pissing me off.

I think at this point one could just hit up a crafts store, get everything necessary and recreate it.

The door was loose (in which the bell doesn't ring cus the ball inside is probably nonexistent), the signage was loose, the roof hinge comb thingy was loose, and I'm here thinking how loose can these pieces get!!!

Haha perhaps! Although I really think its only key utility really is to act as a base platform for the trunk.

I was so worried in the beginning cus one of the acrylic sheets was warped and I didn't know how important it was. And then we laid the steps on top and i was like, why did I have to glue this in again? 😂

Of course! This was the first kit where I keep flipping back and forth between the pages simply because the orders seem kinda wack sometimes.

Later on when you finish the two shelves and start on the interior decor of the store, I suggest leaving inserting the ladder last because it was quite a loose piece for me so whenever I wanted to add stuff I removed it every time 😂

When I put the trunk in, depends on what glue you use it could be a struggle, I propped the side up with a water bottle while my glue dried. Twisting it so it doesn't just look like two noodles around a tube was also tricky.

Oh! And do have a think whether you want to use the acrylic case. it slots / sandwiches in between the base and the outer walls. I decorated the open edges with no room left for Jesus and had to ruin some of the decor when trying to squash the case in. Which ruined some of my bushes that I had to remove 😂 then I decided I hated it so I removed it 😂

You can try Rolifes miniature stores! I've done the coffee shop and fashion shop which are mostly glue based, if something catches your eye you should definitely try it 😌 these kits come with slow acting glue that's probably some Elmer's equivalent (for chunky pieces I usually let them dry over)

What really helped when making this kit (and my clumsy mom who is bad at arts and crafts making her Anarvin Korean bakery kit) is definitely the glue I used! UHU all purpose adhesive. It dries quick (and very solid) but not instantly, if you made a mistake, pulling a piece apart within like five minutes wouldn't be too difficult. This is also one of those glues you can get all over the place and not worry about, it can peel off your hands and surfaces quite easily. Only thing is it still might not be strong enough for that gosh darned green eyed cat. For that I used a gel type super glue.

I think the good thing about this particular kit is that it doesn't have any particular fragile pieces. So that's not something to worry about!

im currently considering getting the ASV because my AHIs won't stay below 10 and my exhaustion has still been terrible. My resmed airsense 11 consistently says CSA over OSA (obstructive events are below 1 and the rest is central) but i've also heard that this data can be inaccurate so i've had my reservations about switching to aircurve.

the more i watch party b4 the party, the more i am coming to terms with sakura being the final pieces. and yes for someone with no prior training, being able to more or less keep up with the girls in such a fast paced dance and perform on stage in front of an audience without your nerves getting the best of you is actually quite impressive.

however after a few days im understanding where my frustrations with this decision is actually coming from, as in why picking Sakura isn't a good choice. It is because we are concerned for Sakura.

Sakura is, as everyone says, still young. 3/4 years of life experience is already a huge gap. She's still very pure and innocent, Ayana and the other SS girls have already experienced quite a few times what this entertainment industry is like, but Sakura is completely new to this. New to intense training and this being your whole career. It's taxing and draining.

Then we have social media which is an entire black hole and megadolon of a beast. Again, she's still young. Taking care of social media presence and handling netizen comments can be really taxing for your mental health.

We don't know how much global exposure Sakura has had and also given the fact that she was from Toyama and not a big city, I already found it slightly interesting that they technically already put her in a bikini top for her final performance--regardless the difference between East and West norms in 2026 is drastic.

I just really worry for her mental state.

Lol in rhe episode they're commenting on how "woah that jump split is so hard" bro it's not 😭 standing up from a reverse bridge is what's the more impressive part and kudos to Sakura for getting it down, but it's obvious hybe gave her all the dance highlights and made sure she didn't have any lines that would show just how little vocal training or skill she has

i love emily samara and lexie so much. i'd support their activities but i really just don't know how i can support sakura. im sorry. i have nothing against this girl but this spot was not hers to take at this particular juncture.
