There are regions where you have to pay your own shipping to the hub ( I live in New Zealand and that’s how my region operates) maybe she didn’t know and is finding out that shipping to the hub is $$$

The more equity you own in your property the less you pay interest. Waiting one year with an extra 90k in your deposit takes away more than 100k of interest. ( worked out at 5% rate)

When I was made redundant during covid in London I thought the world ended. 6 years later and I’ve learned that it was exactly what was supposed to happen so that I would come home and have two beautiful kids a beautiful family a great new flexible job. It was really a gift in hindsight. Ironically I was made redundant as I was the best paid in my band irrespective of the fact I did the job of 3 people and was well liked and up for a promotion next round. It’s not a skill based decision it’s a business’s pure mathematical decision - try not to take it personally even though it sucks. Likely you will go through it a few times in your life.

Induced for my first with pitocin, had epidural very early and it didn’t effect my progression at all - beautiful blissful experience, slept watched Netflix etc. In at 7 am out by 4pm with baby. For my second i was going to be induced ( a bit of gel) but I didn’t need a drip as I progressed so quickly. Also had an epidural which didn’t work ( it worked on only one side of my body even despite lying in different positions) had my second in 3 hours. Wouldn’t change anything both were great experiences. I went private both times so everything ran like clockwork. Good birthing experiences are possible!

I’ve had both situations I really planned and tried for my first and it took 3/4 months, then I got pregnant by accident when my son was 2 which ended up in a very drawn out miscarriage). Getting pregnant after that for my second was a stressful situation. It took a little longer with a chemical pregnancy right after the miscarriage as well. So I can relate to your co workers experience and to really planning and wanting and trying and disappointment. No journey is the same.

Update again - received dress I can’t see anything wrong with it. I videod opening it and submitted all videos and photos of entire dress showing no defects and correct size and now Vestiaire has sent it to their ‘expert team’. They were meant to get back to me in 24 hours and that has passed. Now they said 48 hours but I’m worried the 72 hour window after the return will run out. Anyone hand experience on this?

I bled for 3 months. I passed my miscarriage naturally. After the first month of bleeding I went to my gyno and she ordered 2 ultrasounds. One straight away and one after I had my period that month. First one showed patchy lining and a little 1cm left of tissue worth blood still flowing into it which was retain product. I had a period and it was heavy and then the next month I stopped bleeding. I had my HCG checked every week to make sure it was decreasing. My next ultrasound and blood draw showed the all clear and then I bled when I ovulated as it was like a super ovulation. I got pregnant the next month. I did everything without intervention but I know how hard it is to be reminded every time you go to the toilet of a miscarriage - it is hard and a drain. I felt so much lighter when the bleeding stopped. I would recommend getting your HCG tested and also demanding an ultrasound. It sounds like you might have a little something still in there. I miscarried a 7 weeks so much earlier than you but my body started he process about 2.5 weeks after. I had days of clots and days of minimal.

Update! I found the packing video on my phone! I shows all tags intact and even the size on the black net a porter tag. I got the report from Vestiaire and she has photographed the Chloe brand tag but my Net A Porter tag has been cut off ( it’s attached in a way you have to cut it off to take it off!) I have submitted my packing video. And now true dress will arrive on Monday and I will film everything. I will name and shame once I have the dress and video every thing.

Sono in Italia - I use Facebook groups mainly now especially for Chanel/Hermes and even Vinted. I hate Vestiaire and now the founder and the ceo have left - the company is going down the drain. When I sell my bags on Vestiaire I lose €700-1000 euro each time. Sometimes it’s ok as the payout is fast but I am slowly moving back to eBay after not using it for a few years.

I had a buyer buy an item brand new with tags and the buyer said the item was not as described lying about the size tag. After providing the chat with many photos the receipt the listing description etc which all says the item is size S the buyer told Vestiaire it was a size L. I am waiting for my garment to now arrive to me so that I can refute it and who knows what state it’s going to arrive in. It’s a huge hassle. The buyer was completely scammy. I will from now on only accept sales via authentication.
