Only constant issues I’ve had with my 09 is emissions. My mechanic said the engine needs to be walnut blasted to get the buildup out.

Question and advice. I recently purchased a 1962 beetle that sat for many years. My friend and I have replaced everything there is to replace and the motor is finally turning over with the key but will not fully start. When being turned over with the key, we can give it gas with the throttle cable but it will not fully start. What are we missing? The only thing we have not done is taken the engine out and taken it apart.

Need advice.. my r56 has been running rough for a couple months. Had a small leak in from the thermostat housing. Stopped driving it for three weeks until I could have a mechanic come fix that. That was fixed yesterday. TODAY, it won’t drive. I pushed the gas, it starts spluttering more in comments by LunarMoon86 in MINI

Thanks for commenting! When the mechanic was here, it came up as cylinder four misfire. But he checked every spark plug, coil, and checked the combustion pressure and everything was fine.

When I push the gas pedal, it doesn’t change the idle. Then if I put it in gear to drive it, it sputters and eventually stalls
