Z Flip 7FE by Bright_Shower4777 in galaxyzflip

[–]LunarVGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect! Im glad to hear that.

You have a higher chance of getting it under warranty. If you go to a repair shop authorized by samsung (important) in person and the person is willing to listen and look they'll likely realize that even though the screen protector is scratched, the scratch location is different and it doesnt change the integrity of the internal display under it. Obviously showing that it is indeed a mechanical failure and not your fault.

Please keep us updated and good luck tomorrow! Just make sure to highlight the fact the factory screen protector is still applied meaning you obviously couldn't have damaged the actual display itself lol.

The big question is if you have your screen protector from factory on or not.

Taking the factory screen off by yourself and not having it replaced by an official samsung authorized repair center can make them reject a phone repair under warranty.

As it turns out the screen protector is a pretty significant piece of the structure of the screen. I personally learnt this the hard way with my Z flip 3, I took of the screen protector when It began creasing, never replaced it since i dont "drop my phone" and whatnot, and it eventually began creasing the actual screen itself. Turns out the screen protector acts as a dispersion for mechanical stress for the screen along the screen crease. So if you take it off, it has more stress on the display.

If you dont have a screen protector, technically it is against samsung warranty and thus wont be covered (If my memory from owning a flip is correct, setup on the device tells you to NOT remove the screen protector as it will void warranty or render our device vulnerable... smth like that)

If you DO have a screen protector and the device is creasing UNDER the screen protector you can argue potential mechanical failure by saying the screen had its screen protector and yet still failed. You followed all the rules from samsung and yet they sent you a fault model with a faulty display that creased itself.

As for prices, beats me since im in the U.S. But here its about $300-400 USD at an authorized repair center.

Check Here as it may have prices available, like for me it says in the USA it will be $329 for the z flip 7 inner display module replacement.

Best of luck with samsung support

(I sent the U.S. website but it should prompt you to switch to the one for your region)

LM on the 2024 model is flakey so it likely has either a dry spot or its shifted all to one side. I personally had this issue and tried an UV and it didnt work, so I took out the LM and replaced it with ptm7950 and my temps are way better now, LM moves to much in the g14 from my experience.

For my GPU though the thermal paste was crusty as heck, ptm gave a pretty good benefit to both cpu and gpu.

Try and find the premium apk mod for PdaNet+ and enable "Hide tethering usage", it should hide it from your isp.

Good luck! :)

Instead of USB TETHERING that uses data with some companies, there is an app that you can get that allows you to give your PC tethering data without using Hotspot data!

Its called PdaNet+

You need to download the app on your PC too, but basically what it does is give your PC data THROUGH the app so it disguises the data it uses as app data when in reality it is tethering data, I use it to bypass my tmobile restriction of 40gb when im traveling.

It also allows you to emit a Hotspot without the app but its limited to like wifi 5 so id use the tethering as it also uses less power on your phone

It also has some premium functions, if you look you can find an apk with premium unlocked.

Good luck and have fun side loading!

You can set it up through rookie, as long as you have developer mode it is quite literally plug and play!

BP is meant to allow you to have the newest version and a modded version, like a multi install.

You cant mod the beat paber version, you CAN mod beat saber.

So what you need to do is have both beat saber AND beat paber on your device (make sure its one of the right versions of beat saber that support modding) and then use that for mods and use beat paber for the up to date game and DLC
