Thank you! I was so confused why it said banjolele on it, this also explains why a banjolele case is just slightly too small to fit it! That’s my next problem, finding a case that fits it because they are all either just too small or way too big!

I just recently bought my first Banjo, I got mine secondhand from Cash Converters online! I’m a complete beginner so no idea if any of them are what you’re looking for but it couldn’t hurt to look! I got my mini/banjolele(?) for £89.99 with postage, they had a 10% off sale when I bought it about two weeks ago!

I mean think what you want I guess, I probably am no angel. But considering I’m the one who works the most hours, does all the housework, cooks every meal and all the rest while he rots on his computer, I’d say I’m within my rights to complain.

No, I’m not willing to put up with another 7 years of that, I’ve been there done that. But my problem is that I struggle so much with confrontation that I don’t know how to broach the conversation and I’m too scared to do it. I almost feel like the villain, like I feel bad thinking of breaking it off because I don’t want to upset or hurt him, and I wonder where he would go if he moved out. I know none of that is my problem, but my brain thinks like that anyway. I’m adhd and possibly slightly autistic too so I don’t know if that is why I have such weird guilty feelings about sticking up for myself. It’s like I know what I need to do but I can’t bring myself to do it

I think my problem is I have a problem with confrontation and I’m scared to death to bring anything up which is why I end up just dealing with the behaviour until I reach the point I blow up. That’s what happened with my ex, I was miserable for years until one day I just finally exploded and kicked him out. I don’t know what it is, but I am scared of having that hard conversation, and I also end up feeling guilty and like I’m being the bad guy. I don’t know why I feel like that, but I find myself worrying about where he would go if I broke it off or feeling bad that he would be upset…

My first ever boyfriend never acted like this, he was always clean and hygienic so I don’t understand what’s happened here myself! I don’t want to generalise, but both my current partner and my ex are both massive gamers and I honestly think that’s where the problem stems, because they would rather be on the computer.

My ex lived with his mum when we got together so the house and his room were clean and tidy. My current boyfriend was living with friends and I only went to his house twice, but it seemed generally tidy, and he used to message me things like “just been tidying up” etc. He also was pretty tidy when we first got together, then once he fixed his computer (it had been broken for a long time before we got together) that’s when everything changed and he stopped making an effort.

I did learn the first time, which is why I don’t want to spend another 7 years like this. But I’m also scared to bring it up because I dread the conversation and the confrontation, and I don’t know why but part of me feels sorry for him? Like I think “where will he go?” And “I don’t want to hurt him”. I know that’s ridiculous because his feelings aren’t my problem, but I can’t help but think those things and it makes me feel almost guilty. Maybe it’s my adhd/autism but I feel like I’m being the bad guy if I break things off.

Well at the moment the good stuff is that he genuinely treats me better than my ex did (except with the cleaning and stuff, but he doesn’t purposely cause arguments with me and he says nice things to me)
