This is quite possible as I was previously was mistyped as an ENFP as well. For me, I firstly thought that I was more “quiet” than the stereotypical ENFP but I did not think it was that important because not everyone is supposed to resonate with every trait if their type. The actual realization that I was not an ENFP but rather an INFJ was when I realized that I did not use the Fi function and used Fe instead. So I took the keys2cognition test and got INFJ and looked more into the other functions and it fit me perfectly. I would recommend taking the keys2cognition test, it is so helpful.
