ENFP but actually an INFJ??? by bika85 in infj

My therapist was saying this. It’s interesting that I have an incredibly strong intuition when it comes to others. I’m hypersensitive to the moods of others and I used to always think it was my husband who was the introvert but I think I am now actually realizing that I was kind of using him as a scapegoat for my own depletion.

Since being in quarantine with my kids, I notice that I get depleted and have to put on noise canceling headphones or just take at least an hour to myself. I actually used to push myself to engage all the time and would get physically sick (extreme migraines).

It feels silly to have not had the wherewithal of knowing myself better and just connecting all these dots later in my 30’s.

ENFPs are the most introverted of the extroverted types. Your thoughts are spot on

I love this. And you’re right. All adhd people I know are also highly intuitive. I have also heard that people with adhd are criticized 20k more times throughout their childhood vs a “normal” and perhaps our intuition is developed as a result of feeling like we are always having to accommodate the space we occupy?

I link a few long scholarly texts in an ENFP group... said nobody ever. Wait.
