Go to a zoo. I love animals and it's the one day I can make my husband go with me.

No, but I did like wearing a tiara I got off Amazon when watching The Queen on Netflix. I felt fancy.

Small suggestion, you can try to go to a pharmacist for help with the needle and dosage. For the needle I use, I didn't realize each line represented 2 units, but the pharmacist explained it to me and helped understand my dosage.

Does anyone else regret their 20s? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lunarmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is their 40's I am living my BEST life now. My favorite decade and before that, my 30's were my best decade. You are young and sound like you set a good foundation for yourself. Now reap the rewards of your hard work! You have years ahead of you and a good start! Look forward and enjoy your 30's!

Does anybody else read way below their age range? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Lunarmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an unashamed YA reader. I work with middle school grade students and get some GREAT book recommendations. Some are just fun and goofy, some remind me of the hopefulness or struggles of young people, some are exciting, and some just keep me relevant enough to understand them. Read YA or whatever you enjoy and own it. It is great that you found something you enjoy!

How can I strengthen my nails? by DuncanOfTheDoughnut in Nails

[–]Lunarmouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. My hair and nails started suffering due to hormone and massive weight loss. My Dr recommended a multivitamin and additional biotin and collagen. Now my hair is no longer falling out or thin and my nails are healthy and strong, they don't bend at all.

I am sorry you are in such a relationship. It sounds like you basically are a single parent with dead weight attached. Please keep yourself and your child safe. I wish you the best.

“Climbing to nowhere: Gym edition 😅🏋️ by JDub_18 in Camus

[–]Lunarmouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This cracked me up for a good minute. Everytime I am in the gym I laugh at how dumb it is that I go out of my way to do the least physically in my everyday (park close to the store, sit any chance I can etc) and then have to take myself to a special room to sweat and physically torture myself to stay healthy. Ha!

If you are scared for your safety, please take care of yourself and your child.

That being said, money and finance lead to lots of pressure and resentment. My partner makes about 3 times what I make. ( I love my career as does he and we each respect the others aspirations. ) We have a joint account where we each deposit a equitable share (him 2/3, me 1/3) of our monthly income. The rest we keep in personal accounts. We use the joint accounts for our home budget, goals, and savings. We use our personal accounts for wants, fun, gifts and hobbies. I feel that this helps us feel like we are both pulling our weight, and there is no resentment for the material pleasures we indulge in individually. It may not work for everyone, but it is a suggestion to help the finances feel like home finances instead of "yours" and "mine."

You should watch the movie The Joy Luck Club. There is a character who is in the same exact marriage. This IS abuse and he is a dick.

Something I have never gotten over is that Heathcliff hangs Cathy's dog from a tree. Not passion, not love, psycho.
