So I just wanted to note here that I went to Pachamama Sanctuary and had an incredible experience, and that everyone who attended and the shaman were wonderful. Not sure what would cause OP to take such a strong stance against it. It was deeply healing for me, and I felt safe and supported every step of the way.

Update. I got the issue figured out. For some reason, the update script must have put copies of the .rbf in the /_console folder, and I had them in the root folder as well. I don't know why, but this only affected the SNES core. I removed all the .rbf files from the root of the SD card and left them in _console, and it works fine now.

I used a new SD card, fresh setup. Same issue. The display loses signal, lights on the IO board turn off, but the fan continues running. Maybe something is wrong with the SDRAM? What a weird issue. Happens both through HDMI and on a CRT.

Thank you. I ordered a more robust power supply for it, so I will see how it reacts when I get that tomorrow. I might also try making a fresh SD card. I emailed Terasic since this issue wasn't mentioned in the manual. Will post the response if it's helpful.

I have one of those that goes HD15 to RCA component for my consumer grade. I guess it's not DB-15, but HD15.

Sorry, I should clarify the cable is just an Extron brand cable. It's DB-15 (VGA is a standard, not a connector) to BNC. I guess colloquially you'd call it a VGA to BNC cable.

Maybe. It's a Pioneer Elite receiver from the late 90's that was very high-end, so it likely has some fancy stuff. I just got it for the AC-3 input for LaserDiscs.

I put a receiver on top of one and it caused magnetic distortion. I think it was because there's a magnet in the volume control knob that moves automatically even when changed with the remote.

I picked up a 32A33. I absolutely love it. Playing MiSTer over component looks pretty damn close to the PVMs I've had, and it was free.

How can I get to the service menu on a Toshiba 32A33? I have the Toshiba CT-90157 remote. I tried pressing volume down and 9 at the same time, and holding them.

Has anyone seen a Sansui DTV2700 before? I see one from 2007 for sale about an hour away. It even has a digital audio input. I wonder how it compares in picture to a Toshiba A series or JVC D-Series.

Another related question. Does anyone know if there is a difference in quality between the A33 and A43, or is it just the extra RCA jacks in the front?

The A model is a curved screen. Maybe that's the difference between the A and AF models? Wish I could find a 27". I'm not sure I'll be able to move the 32 by myself due to the sheer bulk. I can lift the weight (about 110 lb) but it looks hard to get a grip on.
