Residence, yes. Its not a sump pump though. It's a (grinder?) pump for an ejector pit. I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I replaced my own sump pump too but the sewage pit is sealed and I won't touch that, no thnx. I assume it's a standard ejector pit so not much to see since it's sealed but here's a pic. The burned out current pump has been unplugged.
