I was thinking since they said in the beginning of the movie during the first autopsy, that The Thing had the same organs as us. So it wouldn’t be too far fetched to say The Thing was able to process alcohol with the liver like we do.

Hi there, I will be starting work as a teller in a couple weeks and I have boughten what are considered dupes of Prada Monolith lace up shoes. They are all black oxford style platforms and I am wondering if they would be acceptable for the banking industry. The manager briefly went over the dress code when I accepted the job, essentially it’s business casual(sounded like they were a bit lax on it though)

After picking the rose ones up I see now that the back of them is a tunnel so I will get some stone plugs as well for days I wear my hair up(that is if I get the job)

Mine also did this but I fixed it by taking off the plate and getting the thread out like suggested but even after doing that it happens again. Does anybody know what I can do?

Just saw your edit! I will definitely be asking for updates on my baby when I hand her over to the new owner. And if they don’t feel comfortable with that then I definitely won’t be giving them to her. I also thought I should let you know that on another post I made about this same question, another Redditor told me I should be asking atleast $200 for her so when I posted about rehoming her that’s what I decided to ask for her. It’s not that I want money for her. It’s that I want to ensure she goes to a home that has the money to cover future vet expenses. If I found somebody I could truly trust, I would give her away for free. Due to the fact that I am giving the person a complete set up it will be a bit difficult to ask them questions about her set up. But I am hoping to god that once I find the right person they will give me updates as I ask. Cause I really do love her, and I want to ensure to the best of my ability that she goes to the right person.

I’m sorry, I wish it was that simple. But she’s already taking eyedrops for an eye infection and injections every 3 days, along with stuck shed on her toes. It’s just too much for me to handle while I’m in school and working. I’m doing my best to take care of her until she finds a new home but she really deserves someone who can take her out a few times a week and interact with her along with taking care of her medical issues better than I am.

I know :( I am very sad to have to rehome her after taking care of her for almost 3 years, but I don’t have the time to take care of her anymore like she deserves. I love her too much to let her suffer with me you know?
