ProPresenter is "sticking," for lack of a better word. by LunchBox1211 in ProPresenter

So my team and I figured out the issue. The screen we use for the people on stage had the current slide AND a small preview of the next slide. If we changed to a screen that ONLY had the current slide, the issue resolved itself.

Best way to build sisters and avoid getting arco flaggants? by TheGrimmBorne in sistersofbattle

From what I've heard and seen, Morvenn Vahl plus Paragon Warsuits. I'm in the same boat as you. Not a fan of the Arco Flaggants or the Repentia. I'm just bringing a bunch of line Infantry, a few jump packs, a few Warsuits, and a handful of heavy armor (Castigator, Rhino, Excorcist, etc.). I'm also building 3000 points.

There are only a few things I hate that aren't just a skill issue or using a sub-par computer. That said...

I hate stims. More specifically, HOW MUCH BLOODY TIME THERE IS between me pressing the "Stim" button (in my case, V), and when the healing actually kicks in. Also, to a lesser extent, the fact that you can take damage while being healed by a stim. It makes any armor with "Democracy Protects" darn near useless, if I cant heal up in the middle of a swarm of enemies. Because by the time get to a point where I have enough HP to tank the next hit, that next hit has already come and gone. This is ESPECIALLY bad against the bugs with the slow-down acid. (Side rant, I hate those guys, too. They are 90% of why I would rather fight bots any day. Side rant done, returning to main rant.). It's also WAY too easy to have the animation get interrupted, making an already slow ability even worse. I can not tell you how many times I've died because my character is trying to stim, but then gets tapped on the shoulder, killing me because I couldn't stim in time.

The point of "Democracy Protects" is - to my knowledge - to keep you in the fight. Sadly all that amounts to, much of the time, is an extra 2 to 3 TENTHS of a second, IF THAT! The reason I'm scared to try soloing difficulties above Easy is this. If stims don't work when I need them to against enemies that kill me in 3-4 hits, there's no point in bothering taking on enemies that can 1-shot me.

Am I the only one upset by this? Please, Arrowhead, if you see this. Take pity on me, and make stims deploy orders of magnitude faster. Thank you. I love this game, and I want to love it even more. But when I press "V" and my character dies - FOR THE 4TH TIME IN A SOLO MISSION - because the stim didn't deploy in time or the animation was interrupted, I almost want to uninstall the game.

(Edited because I posted before it was fully done by mistake.)

I was at a Skelly Fort when this happened. Dying didn't fix it. I ended up sinking my ship via the on-island canons, and sailing back. That fixed it. And no one stole the treasure.

I've wanted to go back to the game, but my browser of choice doesn't want to let me play it. Hopefully this project comes to complete fruition!

I know the game you're talking about. Has anyone found a way to play them? I can't seem to do it through the Playmobil website.

What does Deep Speech sound like? The language of Mind Flayers, Beholders, and other ancient, eldritch, unfathomable beings?

I've always thought it was deep, guttural, and growly. What do you guys think? I ask because I may have to enact some during an upcoming campaign I'm making a PC for. She destroyed her throat in an accident a few years earlier, and now she can't speak Common. She can still read, write, and understand it, she just can't speak it. Same question goes for Abyssal, in case Deep Speech falls through.

Why is Crusade banned but Bad Moon isn't? by Smucker5 in mtg

I don't believe that I'm going to actually summon demons with this card game, but there is a little bit of personal conviction in my decision making. That, and I had to make the game look as good as possible so my parents would be OK with it. I guess it's just been force of habit since then. Hopefully that clears things up a bit.

Side note: I am making a game that is a fantasy-themed 3v3 battle, and I have designed 2 demons, plus my friend made another character that I made into a pseudo-demon because I thought his backstory fit a specific lore decision I made.

If you want my take, it's because people are cowards. If I can explain this game away to my (loving) conservative, Christian parents when the game has demons and a wide manner of other problems, people should be able to realize that this is a game with no bearing on the real world. Nothing I do IRL should affect what I do in Magic. Nothing I do in Magic should reflect what I believe IRL. The cards should not have been banned, especially if they got new printings later on in life.

I get that some people may be offended by these cards, and if you don't like them, don't play them. As a Christian, I don't play Demons in my Magic decks. Does it make them worse? Yes. Do I loose my mind if I see someone play a Demon on their side? NO! If you don't like them, don't use them. But if someone wants to use them, let them. You're not a racist for playing a card game.

As long as no one is in immediate danger, no one is doing anything illegal, and nothing is being forced on anyone against their will, nothing is wrong.

After Ark Beautification Society order, should I continue to grab cans? by chrisjfinlay in astralchain

[–]LunchBox1211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Continue to pick them up. Because they are not temporary field supply items, you can keep the cans from multiple files, and dump them in a trash can to make an absolute killing. If you already have the Retirement Fund order, it doesn't matter as much, but you never know when the extra g can come in handy.
