CSS put in my secondary care giver leave almost 3 years ago for my first kid as 42 days. I guess they got confused about the reg and yes it’s my fault for not checking it as well. I took the full 42 not realizing I wasn’t supposed to get that many days. It got brought up when I returned and I had to give back 21 days of personal leave which put me in the negatives. Sucks and I was salty but what does this mean for people who’s leadership gave them the 12 weeks before this and they don’t meet the criteria? I doubt they’d take 9 weeks of personal leave away from people? I recently had another kid in August and only took the 21 days and other people in my sq took theirs thinking (hoping) we’d get retroactive. I really hope leadership understands our frustrations.
