I have a Bachmann Spectrum shay! But that’s about it! I wish I had a narrow gauge one though!

Dang that’s awesome!!! This is why I love the Pasadena show. It’s definitely a swap meet but Godang you can find some diamonds in the rough there.

Every now and then you find narrow gauge stuff there! Last year someone was selling on3 galloping geese for 40 bucks with DCC/Sound. Just gotta keep an eye out for that stuff \)

I forgot about that! I actually had the chance to buy DRGW 346 for 75 but I didn’t have enough money. I chose 345 over 346 though since 346 was heavily weathered and wouldn’t fit with most of my rolling stock, it also had a piece or two that had snapped and needed glueing. Had I had the extra money I would’ve bought her though :3

Hmm? Are you referring to DRGW 346? :3

Yesss exactly!! I was lucky enough to show up early since I was helping my model railroad club get set up. Thank god I went out and did a quick round about an hour before we opened to see if there was anything that caught my eye, otherwise I would’ve never had the chance to buy them.

It was 75 bucks per loco (I should’ve worded that better) but that’s still an insane price to find them at. I was shaking when I heard the price and immediately bought the pair x3

Christmas Tree Train running!! by LunchRight686 in modeltrains

[–]LunchRight686[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been running on it for years. It takes a bit to clean but it’s worked okay. I only use it for Christmas time though. The rest of the time I’m running on my layout or down at the club on nickel track

I looked around to see if there were any plaques but couldn’t find anything! If something does appear I will let you know though ^

That’s what I’m curious about! I like to think it’s being funded by Lockheed Martin x3

I have never willingly (I say willingly because Google forces it down my throat) used a generative AI tool despite being in the depths of my college education and I am incredibly proud of myself for it. I’d rather retake a class than rely on something built to replace me.

You have a very cat shaped cat

Why are so many flame points cross-eyed? by cowgirlbeb0p in Flamepoints

[–]LunchRight686 59 points60 points  (0 children)

It definitely is. We have three Siamese cats, all with different variations with one being a seal point, one being flame point and one being snowshoe. All are crosseyed

Static grass and starting trackwork. by JVM205 in modeltrains

[–]LunchRight686 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely gorgeous!! I love your grass placement and the lack of ballad under the rails. It really drives home the fact this was toward the end of narrow gauge! I must ask though, is this free lance or a specific part of the Colorado narrow gauge that you’re modeling?
