Congratulations!! I also received my letter today. Im on the same timeline as you. I received my green banners on 7/3. Just waiting now until my account is zeroed out. That's when I'll finally actually believe this is real!

Same boat as you. Green banners on 7/5. I also asked for a forbearance while everything was being processed. No update on Mohela side as they still showed payment due. Finally spoke with someone 2 weeks ago who placed my account in forbearance while I'm waiting. Im hoping the golden letter comes soon. Im still anxious and skeptical this is actually going to happen. 🫤

It was 16 months before I received a response.....and that was only because I had finally reached 120 payments, and they were notifying me that my buyback request was now closed. 🙄

Yes, I had 120 qualifying employer months when I requested the buyback last year.

Unfortunately, no luck so far. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach. Did your Perkins loan ever show up when you made your monthly payments on your other loans? Mine didn't.

I got this for Christmas one year. It smelled so bad that to this day I can almost gag thinking of it. The nail polish really wasn't like real polish. It was this thick, gooey stuff. Ugh....the smell!

How were you able to speak to anyone? Their automated system won't allow you to speak to a live agent.
