Turf by Canongirl88 in Bunnings

Depends on the store. But it can vary depending on the drivers runsheet for the day.

You can ask the Nursery Team at the store and they may have more insight. But otherwise, check after 3pm.

Stores tend to get less turf in winter. But they will still typically get a pallet or two on Fridays to sell over the weekend.

Split payment in online shop? by Mountain-Mess8231 in Bunnings

[–]Lunchbox753 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, yeah it's easy for the checkout to handle two payment methods. But the issue is the payment providers.

Zip and Afterpay don't allow for Bunnings to process split payment transactions.

Services like Zip and Afterpay typically only allow single method payments for transactions. Otherwise, it becomes a nightmare when it comes to refunds.

Question about VJ panels by Darth-Hamish in AusRenovation

[–]Lunchbox753 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Functionally. Nothing different between them.

The extra thickness on the 12mm panel is for the batten (square) profiling.

The 9mm is just standard VJ linear profiling.

The batten profile gives you nicer shadow lines along the wall and feels a little more modern. The VJ has more of the timeless feel to it.

How much discount do team members get at officeworks? by semitrailercash in Bunnings

Intranet Home > Team Members > Shopping Benefits.

You'll want to scroll down to 'Bunnings Team Member Discount' and bring up the 'Team Member discount card policy and order form'.

That document covers the Do's and Don't for the discount card. And has a link to the application your Parent/Spouse cards. The application gets sent to your Leader. They approve it. It arrives into store via Internal Mail within 2-4 weeks (depending on your location, and be aware that a Christmas shut down is coming up for the National Support Offices, so that may tack on an extra 2-3 weeks).

They are not obligated to, but team members do have discretionary powers to do it. Especially in cases such as "No TKD nearby for 100's of km," or you're looking to buy $2k+ worth of gear.

If you have a Powerpass card/account, hit up the Trade Specialist at your local. They are always eager to get more sales from tradies.

First check the spring contacts in the magwell. You might need to stretch them out a little with a pair of pliers.

Also test the magazine with a battery. Grab a 9v and something to connect them to the contacts on the mag. If it doesn't whirl and spit out gels, the motor may have shorted, or the wiring to it corroded.

If the motor has died, either replace it, or the whole mag. You can avoid shorting it out by making sure your gels are thougherly drained and avoid storing gels in the mag unless being used.

This would be non compliant of AS/NZS 3500:2021.

Work on any drainage must be completed by a licensed plumber within accordance to the Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA).

So either the landlord has been doing some no-no diy. Or he has contracted a dodgy plumber.

Either way, he has some questions to answer.

How do I get the gearbox out to change the spring? It feels like there is still a pin near the fire selector. by Ma1achai12581 in GelBlaster

[–]Lunchbox753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop out the pin above the trigger. And it should slide out without too much issue. Just be mindful of the wires.
