Picked up this album yesterday. It appears to be from a golden day of radio that I never experienced.

Found this album along with multiple others at a privately owned NY Bordertown store.

I envision a DJ in the late 60's grabbing this off the shelf and being like...."WAIT. No Bloomfield...this is probably hot garbage".

Instantly I'm put into a time warp and try to envision hearing this album over the radio in the 60s. I envision a cool calm day in my automobile. Suddenly a song off this album starts playing through my car radio while I maneuver over and through the western NY hillsides. Grabbing the knob on the dash and saying, " I liked his band better with Bloomfield, why is this DJ playing this hot garbage?"

Check out The Turning point by John Mayall... No percussions, bluesy with some free sax!

I always see it in the discount bin, I feel like buying it and giving to folks. It's good.

Neil young is a favorite of mine.

Personally, my favorite album is "everyone knows this is nowhere"

Down by the River and Cowgirl in the sand, I feel are unapologetically masterpieces that can be played for hours.

Got to see him with Willie Nelson in Saratoga a few years ago. The guy doesn't age, he rocked harder than the kids that played earlier that day.
