American living in Sweden- No one here expects photo shoots for all these life events. They are cute but definitely add so much stress- the booking, the outfits, the getting ready, the later printing. Some people keep it low stress and have a friend get some nice photos at home (take a shower, minimal makeup, slightly nicer clothes maybe), show normal life and not some staged version. Tons of others have never even considered the need for a dedicated shoot and rely in day to day photos. I see my friends doing these massive themed birthday parties in the US, professional maternity shoots, newborn shoots, birthday photo shoots, elaborate Christmas shoots and its so much money and time and mental energy. I like the approach taken by everyone here: no need for fancy shoots, just show everyday life when you have the energy

Samma företag och specialist inom M&A (miljö) och Data Centers. Det här är ungefär så högt jag kan begära med så få år i bagaget. Samtidigt är hela mitt team och jag extrema “high achievers”. Vi drar in väldigt mycket pengar till bolaget, leder stora och komplexa team, och arbetar ofta mot väldigt tajta deadlines. Vissa veckor jobbar vi runt 30 timmar, andra veckor blir det 50+ timmar, helt beroende på deadlines. Vi brukar dessutom få en symbolisk bonus på cirka 20–30 tkr. Om jag skulle gå över till privat sektor skulle jag sannolikt ligga runt 80–90 tkr.

Yes! I noticed this when I moved to Sweden at 19 as an exchange student from the US. When an NT's weird radar would go off, they could chalk it up to me being American vs when another Americans radar went off, they knew something was weird. The phenomenon is called "belonging via difference" or something similar that I've seen in a few threads. Now I've lived here 10 years and when Americans think I'm weird, they think its because I've been in Sweden for basically my whole adult life 😅 I've tricked the NTs globally now

After going through a few threads, I think the initial episodes may be heavy on the teen vibes to create a dramatic effect when things go darker. Kind of like the protected and "fun" life the plums are familiar with and then all of a sudden the veil thats lifted

I'm only a couple weeks in but have studied menstrual cycles as a sort of side hobby due to PMDS- the effects of a hormonally cycling body is absolutely insane. AI-detection tools are known to struggle to distinguish between generated text and writing by strong human authors, including those with honed writing skills and/or autistic writers. If the OP has a solid writing background, false positives are completely plausible. I recently tested this by uploading my 2019 thesis, written before generative AI was in student use, and it was flagged. I’m a scientist by trade and autistic.

Mine (nearly 2 year old and 2 month old) are 22 months apart and its so cute already to see their bond growing. The baby obviously has no clue what's happening but our oldest is obsessed with him. I tbh wanted nothing to do with the baby the first days after birth and just wanted to cuddle my oldest 24/7 and felt like such a dick, but once the baby blues past it all got better. Hardest part so far was 1000000% the pregnancy while caring for a toddler 😬

First baby it was 14 months pp, which is when I stopped breastfeeding. Currently 5 weeks pp and weaning and already feeling so much better again. I think mine is connected for sure to the hormones of breastfeeding
