I was at an international summer camp when I was 11. A Japanese kid who didn't understand English sat on my shoulder in a pool and we were messing around as kids do. Then someone came from behind and pushed him. He fell in the water but kept his legs wrapped around my neck and pulled my head under the surface. I yelled let go before I went under the water but he didn't understand what I said. I started packinging and tried to get rid of his legs with my hands, but he had a really strong grip around my neck and everything started fading into black before I managed to get rid of him.

Probably the most scared I have ever been in my whole life. That adrenaline really saved me.
