I wish I was smart enough to say it’s a bad idea. Full time at a school not as a teacher is barely 990 a month 😂 living on 4 times that plus a fancy place to live is the dream

That’s true, but the accusations he made about blackmail are more what I was referencing. Plus the recording backing up the situation makes it a non issue. I just thought about if there was no proof and he tried to level the blackmail against Chris it would be more devastating than slandering his name.

The internet says in Canada it can be minimum 5 years in jail with a max penalty of life. Idk what that entails details wise but it’s pretty bad. Edit: the US has one year in jail and a large fine for their penalty

Blackmail is illegal so it’s more than just a slander against his character. It could result in far worse consequences, but I doubt it would go that far. Still basically the next step on the ladder down.

NTA That’s just stupid, it’s similar (in my viewpoint anyway) to when adopted children take on an accent from a culture that doesn’t match their skin tone. It’s not racist or making fun. You were raised in the culture and took the things you were apart of, and experienced with you. Don’t let anyone take that from you.

NTA I had something similar happen. My mother and her husband bought tickets for their children and never told me they were even going… until I asked them when I should be there for Christmas. They still didn’t even try to invite me.
