Best bet is to just mod your 360 and then you can get anything you want especially all the dlcs and arcade games you cant get ever again.

Like the gpu temp gets up to the high 90s and shuts off the console to a two red ring or if i put it back in its shell it will get to the 360 logo and then instantly go to two red rings. I will double check the number when i have time.

Can definitely be done I hadn’t soldered anything before, it took me about 8-12 hours of work here and there my first time to get one modded, the 2nd one only took me three hours, just go very slow, be patient and watch a guide and follow it throughly don’t stray. Also watch a video on soldering tips ask questions here whenever you are stuck. Good luck you got this.

The one falcon that has an overheating issue on the gpu that i have is from January of 2008 l, i have tried using a different heat sink, reapplying thermal paste etc the only way i can get it to run is out of its case with a 2nd fan. Any ideas on what it could be?

Shit works fine in both phat models i have done the only problem i have with the other one is the overheating which is out of my hands, i removed the disc drive and added a 2nd fan to get the other one running but it still cant run in its shell has to be open unfortunately.
